I'm a big fan of Smokeless Image they're a quality company with great customer service.
The T3 is a newly designed tank that holds 3ml of juice. It hasn't been released yet so nobody can give you a good thumbs up or down on it.

The nano hasn't worked out well for a lot of people, so I lost interest in it until a redesign comes out. I will continue to use CE3's (Phoenix XL) as my go-to device. Gotvapes has just come out with a redesign of their CE3 (they call it the Phoenix XL Reborn) and I'm really liking them.

I suggest you get a couple of more posts under your belt then head over to the Smokeless Image subforum. They are very honest in answering any questions you may have. Smokeless Image

Is that Got Vapes Phoenix (XL Reborn) different than the SI CE3?

I was under the impression that they were the same thing.
Yes, it is redesigned. I'm on my first box now and really liking it. The only downside is that it holds about 1ml instead of about 1.2ml.

The major change is to the base and coil cup. They made it a bit larger to allow for better coil placement. The 510 base is sealed, and the 808 base has a smaller air hole. With these I'm not getting any condensation on my battery terminal like I did with the older version.

Here's a link to their thread on their ECF forum http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gotvapes/327761-new-phoenix-xl-reborn-its-been-rebuilt.html

Here's a picture of the 808 version alongside the old version to show the extra length of the base.

This shows the smaller hole in the base on the 808 the new one is on the left

Here's the 510 version with the sealed base

Noob question... I'm fairly new to this whole vaping thing.. I just bought a Volt X2 and am extremely interested in getting a Phoenix Reborn. Do I need an adapter for either the 808 or 510?

Smokeless Image's batteries use an 808 thread. The Phoenix uses a 510 thread, so you would need to buy an 808-to-510 adaptor to connect them.

808 to 510 adapter [gotvapes-808to510-adapter] - $3.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

No, you won't need an adaptor.

The Phoenix Reborn comes in both 510 thread and 808 thread. The 808 thread will work great on your Volt X2

Here's a link to the 808 version that will work with your Volt X2 without any adaptors GotVapes PHOENiX™ REBORN BttmCoil XL 1.5ml Carto 2.4-2.6ohm -808 [gv-PHOENIX-XL-BC-808-2.4] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

A note about using adaptors with these.
The 510 version has a sealed base without any center hole. These will not work well (or not at all) with automatic batteries as it won't trigger the scution activated switch. They work great with manual batteries.

I get the 808 version because it works great on my 808 batteries (automatic) and with an 808 to 510 adaptor also works great on my 510 threaded batteries. I haven't had luck going the other direction.

Thanx much Baditude!
I stand corrected, Harplayr. :thumb:

A soft word of caution: I'm quite certain that all of Smokeless Images cartomizers, clearomizers (this I am certain), and ce3's use a resistance of 2.6 - 2.9 ohms. From what I can tell, the Got Vapes Phoenix (XL Reborn) uses a resistance of 2.4 - 2.6 ohms. They will work on the Volts, but being a lower resistance they may perform a little hot and drain the battery slightly faster than if they were the recommended SI resistance. Enjoy.
