I've been vaping for two months after many years of analogs and was wondering what vaping hardware I should consider next. I started with 78 mm Smokeless image batteries (automatic) and cartomizers. I then moved to CE3's followed by Nanos and T3's. I also upgraded to two 650 mAh X2 (automatic) batteries. I use a 50/50 blend of VG & PG.

Thanks,
Joe

Just went to ego c twist with mini vivi nova along with new juices to try and I couldn't have made a better move. Like others have said, vv is probably the next logical step. If I had known vv can control TH, flavor, vapor, temp, I don't think I would have tried anything else. I love playing with the voltage and different ohm heads on my vivi when trying out new flavors just to get it right where it fit me perfectly.

Hi Pilot

Everyone here says VV, and supertrunker recommends the Silver Bullet with a kick.

I agree, but just to add more info that I didn't understand when I first started, and subsequently spent money needlessly.

A proper Variable Voltage device will be much bigger and will use rechargable batteries like the AW IMRs. Just bite the bullet and go this route, because if you stay with the ecig bug, thats where you WILL end up. Probably VVs and Mechanical mods with rebuildable atomizers or hybrids.

The Silver Bullet with a kick is awesome. The Silver Bullet is a straight mechanical mod - That means a tube that takes a battery and has a switch. This means you are always vaping at the voltage output by the battery. What the kick does is regulate that voltage output to a pre-defined (user set) POWER output in Watts.

We all vape really at certain power settings for various juices. Alot of vapers choose a lower wattage for sweeter juices and a higher wattage for Tobacco juices.

Now you gonna say, but hell if I have a Variable Voltage I can just use that!!!!! - YES you can, but each time you put on a DIFFERENT Atty you need to change the voltage. Thats OK also, but with a kick that works on POWER it just does this for you.

Sorry if this is all a bit techy.

So either go with a mechanical mod and a kick (made by Evolve - Most vendors sell it, Review here)

Or get something like a Provari Mini. Awesome mod!!!!! but expensive.

BTW all your 501 attys and stuff will fit.

Hope this helps?

I'd just go ahead and get a vamo unless you don't mind spending $100 + for more expensive PV. A kick is around $50, that's not even including the mechanical mod, also the battery life of a 18650 battery is shorten by its 3.5v cut off. If your interested in apv's, the vamo is a nice price to begin with. Some places sell them for under $40 with a coupon code like exhalevapors. It has a vw mode where you can put on any device on it without having to worry about changing the volts all the time.

Ego vv are nice, it's what I first got also but eventually you'll want to venture into other mods right away. Especially if your constantly browsing these forums and watching YouTube videos. My ego sits lonely in the corner now. The only time it gets use is when I lend it out to people at work interested in e cigs.

Im at the two month mark also, well 7 weeks, After the first month of two pen style 808s Smokeless image, I got tired of swapping them out on the charger, I had a charger in the kitchen, in the car, at work and one in the bathroom. they couldn't keep up with me, so went to the X2, ego style from smokeless image to throw in the mix. Then i found my local vender (Stormy,s Vapor Cellar) BAM it was on, my wife then joined me on my adventure. I have 7 EGO's now, 4 mine and 3 hers, two of mine are twists and i love them. I then perched a sigelei zmax telescope, I love it too but i dont take it out of the house, So what im trying to say is at this point in my adventure i can load multiple flavors on my egos and not worry about drooping, scratching, or loosing them, at $15-20 bucks thats great. oh yea they last all day. hope this helps. What ever you have to do to stay OFF analogs

I started off with the ego t upgrade, and now am using the SLB 1200 VV2, it is a bit astger but lasts all day, and is a yous thru so you can vape and charge at the same time via USB. It also has .1V increments from 3-6V. Had it for about a month now and I am very Happy with it. Got it at Welcome to FreE-Cigs.com - Live Free for a little more that a twist. Hope this helps!

I agree, Vamo is a great entry level VV/VW device that will save you money over disposable batts in the long run, I love mine and I've had many VV devices.
