Was looking for any feed back from the 510 disposable. I now have a kr808 and was wanting to try a 510 and this seems to be the most cost effective way to do it. Was wondering how long they last, and hoping you can refill them. Any other info would be cool. Also have a friend that wants to check out vaping and was wondering if this would be a good one for him to try.

I've purchased two disposables from Madvapes and own a normal 510. In my opinion the experience is much the same, and I have mixed the atomizers with my normal ones.
They are definitely refillable. The battery seems to last a little shorter than the regular 510 batteries, but I would say the disposables last within 10% of the normal battery times.
The only real downfalls are the prefilled carts that comes with it I personally can not stand the flavor ( no biggie really) and the charger has no way to tell the status of the charge. I could not find instructions for charging, so i generally leave it charged for around 4 hours. I got my disposable about 3-4 weeks ago I believe and use it 1-2 times a day and it is still going.

IMO it is well worth the money to test the waters, Just don't forget to buy juice with it :)

PTB ?? sorry but I am not sure what that means,,,Pass Through Battery??

While mrD was refering to pyramid tea bag, I wouldn't recommend using a passthrough on these (5V at least). I fashioned one out of an RCA plug and usb cable. It worked just fine through my computer, but as soon as I plugged it into a 2A USB power supply (5.2Vo), it was fried instantly. A tiny wisp of vapor, then nothing:(
This was actually my first rechargeable unit and what spurred me to order a 901 kit from madvapes as well (best deal around, btw). Compared to the 901, the disposable ran noticibly hotter and with lower voltage (3.2V LiFe battery) which helps to explain the low runtime (and why I fried it). Overall, for $10 I was satisfied with the product though. In fact, I think I'm going to order another to keep for backup/giveaway.

BTW, when you order, be sure to pick up some extra carts or liquid. USA mix was tolerable, but i liked the marlb. carts better.

When mine is on the charger, the red led lights until it is charged, then goes out. I've had one going for at least 2 months. I use other units too but it's in the mix.

Well do you think you want the heat and throat hit that only an authentic Joye 510 can provide? Or is one of the numerous clones that look like it and vape more like a DSE 901 more towards your liking?

Have you tried the disposable 510? I got one AFTER using a genuine Joye 510 for a month. I don't notice much difference. It hits a lot better than a 901 IMO.

Not to mention, if someone likes the disposable, the're SURE to like the Joye 510. So, the disposable is a great way to see if a 510 is a PV someone will like.

No they are not. Not everyone likes the heat a Joye atty provides, that's evident by the legions of 801, 901, and cartomizer users.

Willyb has a valid point.. There's so much variation. I've got probably 60 various atties and e-cigs going.. Whatever is plugged in and charged is what I use (today 510 mega and 901's are the delivery device of choice).. Some are joye, slb, disposable, bauway, kemier, clones and unidentifiables's..

I can definitely tell the difference between a lower ohm atty and higher ohm atties..

I Like coffee flavored e-liquids and chef Scott has got some great flavors but on some low ohm 510 atties they taste burnt but on a 901 and higher ohm 510 atties they are terrific..

I've been noticing a trend lately where 901/808-D connectors are quickly gaining on 510 connectors sales..

On a limb here but I think the next big atty/e-cig is coming.. not too much heat, not too little vapor, no burnt taste, lots of nic.. just perfect..

yeah right :)

I got my disposables from Madvapes and the suckers are still going strong. Attys and battery's. 4 weeks now. The good plus for them is the auto battery. Yea, it works sometimes, sometimes not, but for me I always used to have the cig hanging from my mouth while working. Puffing away. With these, I vape away. They don't hit like the manual battery and I found out that if you tape up 2 of the battery vents they work much better. To me the manual 510's are a lot hotter.

Bingo... sometimes hits, sometimes not.. I love having an e-cig hanging out of my mouth all the time but hate the drool when I'm packing orders :D

:thumbs:I just got my first 510 3/10. The carts were filled with 16mg which was to light for me. Once this unit is broken in it performs just as good as my 401's. More vapor than the 401 with a bit less taste. I drained the 16mg stuff and refilled with blue foam and some 30mg juice. These little things are great in IMO. The battery life so far has exceeded what I was expecting. I had a 801 to 510 adapter so I tried this on my SP2 Sparkplug at 3.7 and 6 volts. WOW! 8-o At 3.7 the vapor/throat hit exceeds the B112 atty with a loss of taste. At 6 volts it is way to intense/harsh :nah: Overall this thing is better than a EVO 401 hands down and compares really close (minus a bit of taste) to my 201 penstyle. What it lacks in taste is easily made up for in the cost of this unit

I look at the disposable 510 as a gateway drug. My gf and I started with 2 each (one reg, one menthol). Since we didn't like either flavor it came with we ordered some juice from NCvape. About a week later I was jonesing for something more consistent so I got a a couple of manual batts and a charger from Cignot. My gf is still using the disp batts a month later. They're starting to give up the ghost, so she ordered a few more this week.

Oh, and we just replaced our attys with Bauways from MadVapes. Did I mention I've been playing around with snus and VG and she's talking about making our own juice to sell?

Like I said, gateway drug. :D

510 disp came on Saturday. I recently lost all my cartomisers for the 808 due to the foam incineration issue. My wife saw the ones that were taken apart and out they all went. That left me with the 901 set we got from Hoog, and the 808 batts. Adding a 510 set was the next logical progression so I got the 510 disp to try with an 808 adapter.

When the batt dies, its my first 510 box connector. Its going to stay to run the 36 mg show and the 901 will cover the 24/26mg flavor and relaxing part of the day. The 510 is close to the real cig experience. Full vapor, in a small unit. The batts are disp batts. Good enough, but a short term solution, when you could have a reg set, of 280 mah manuals.

For $10, one can not afford to try the platform, and when they do, the results are great.
