1. it is not original lavatube.
2. sorry. I can not answer the question, because we never use the original lavatube.
3. Unprotected Li-ion 18650 batteries at 65mm length can work.

I am sorry that nobody can send you a review, perhaps the guy who order them has not got it so far, or perhaps the guy who use it does not visit the forum.

We did test them before we started to carry them. They work well. but it seldom reach 6v. If you do not mind it, it is a good choice.

Hmmm bad news !!! But i ordered mine on 5-11-12 so soon ill have it i am making my own volt meter to test the voltage loaded & unloaded same as clouds of vapour !! Got all the parts today just waiting for my lavatube

It's not really about the volts. (It's easy to make a simple VV). It's about the current control. You won't need a voltmeter. Just vape it and tell us if it can consistently give the sweet spot you like. Over voltage burns the liquid,tongue, mouth, makes the atty too hot and under performs. Under voltage doesn't produce enough vapour.

Damn, I should have read more carefully on the website:

Please note:
* The body only fit standard 18650 Li-ion battery, which length is 65mm. Most protected 18650 Li-ion batteries including the protected 18650 battery (2600mAh) on our site can not fit the body.

Now what do I do?

Well, if the battery compartment uses springs you could clip the springs a bit. Alot of these vv mods don't need protected batteries because they supply the protection themselves during use. Not during charging though.The charger needs to be a lil better to prevent over charging.

The spring is in the cap and there's no way I can fit the cap back on.
