It's easy and about 20% of the cost of buying juice.

Start with Wizard Labs. They have raw nicotine juice and will mix it in many PG/VG ratios.

The biggest problem is the flavoring. Don't ever buy big (say 10ml) bottles of flavoring since you won't like most of them.
And it typically takes only 10 to 30 drops per 30ml...experiment.

Wizard Labs also has flavoring at $1.49, but I can't tell you how good they are since I only use Menthol, from another company.

Another note: mixing RY4 flavoring may not taste exactly like the RY4 you like. Every Ry4 is at least slightly different. So you'll be doing a lot of experimenting.

Good luck !

Edit: I just noticed a detailed current discussion of RY4 on the DIY forum. Check out the DIY forum of ECF.

I find it easy, get some pg and vg and mix that in a container to your preferred ratio. Then use that mix to add flavors and nic to. I bought a syringe at walgreens used to administer medicine to infants, it's calibrated to 10 mils. I add a little of my pg/vg, add the nic, then the flavor and top off with more of the pg/vg. Then squirt the whole thing into a 10 mil bottle and shake.

You have to be careful if you use 100mg nic, it's toxic and can be absorbed through the skin. I'm not brave enough to try the higher concentrations. But you can buy lower concentrations as well. I used a dropper to determine exactly how many drops made up one mil. So it's been easy to go from 10mg nic to 8, to 7, to 5mg.

I've just done plain flavors out of the bottle so far, but come Fri, or next week depending on USPS, I'm going to try and mix flavors.

Thanks for the info guys! This is exactly the input I'm looking for. I understand that it won't taste the same and I don't expect it to. I think I may start with a DIY starter kit (once I begin looking into them) as opposed to purchasing a la carte. That could change though if I'm unsatisfied with specific items contained in a kit.

100mg nic is fine. I have a steady hand, will take necessary precautions, and follow instructions well. Any opinions on the "eJuice Me Up" calculator?

My hand is okay. I take few precautions and I don't follow instructions well. I use 100mg nic for my DIY.

There is an MS Excel compatible spreadsheet around. I'd have to search for it. I used it as a starting point to make my own mixing spreadsheet.

E-Juice Me Up is the only calc I use and have been for a couple of years. It hasn't let me down yet.

Plenty of info and help over at the DIY subforum if you haven't found it yet. DIY E-Liquid

Edit: Ah, never mind, I see you have. :)
