Anything changed on Jantys RY4 liquid ?!?

Hi Folks,

i loved the old Janty RY4 (unlabled Bottle), since janty changed the Bottles (labled).
I compared the Old Bottles with the new ones and its like day and night. The new Bottles doesnt taste like the old ones, it tastes terrible. I cant explane how it tastes. It taste just bad. I used 4 different atomisers, some new and some old ones. The Problem isnt at the Hardware.

Does anyone have the same problem like me?

I have 2 bottles coming in on monday with my eGo, hopefully they didn't change the flavor, I really like the old RY4 flavor from Janty.

i only tasted a bit from a new bottle, but somethings different, not in a good way.

Well the thing is, im just the designer - i do also do alot of other stuff within Janty, but when it comes to stuff like this i dont interfere. I have brought this to the attention of the shopkeepers, but where it goes from there is up to them, or Ludo.

As for Harry i think he is on vacation until the 4th, - i could be wrong - but he hasnt answered me either, so i think he will start digging through his box when he comes back.

So, im afraid i cannot help anymore on this issue - it is not my area =/

I also have noticed this with a recent R4 purchase of Dekang. R4 tasted like cotton candy to me and I loved it. Ordered two 30 ml bottles of R4 from my usual supplier, and was very disappointed, indescribably horrible. Used to be my favorite vape, now I cant fathom vaping it in a crunch. So sad. I know its not janty, but sounds like maybe the base flavor might come from the same company.

I got my 2 bottles of the new Janty RY4, and find that there is a slight cotton-candy taste, but overall, I'm really liking it. It appears to taste mostly the same, with a tiny bit of cotton-candy flavor at the end of exhaling.

So thats why the RY4 has been an off flavour for me recently!! For me its not just Janty some of my local suppliers changed their juice so much when they went to the new bottles I no longer order from them!

I got some "RY4" from Holy Smoke, and to me that stuff tastes horrible. I got the 50ml 26mg bottle because the price was good and I got more liquid. To me, their stuff tastes more like State Express from TW (which I don't like all that much...too "nutty" and harsh tasting). I just received a new bottle of RY4 from Janty this morning, and I'm happy with it. So I'm not sure about any change to the flavor, but I still like it. Just my observation.

Yep, I just received some Janty RY4 from ivapour.co.uk, and it is AWFUL. If it stays that way, I won't be buying any more, that's for sure.

Why on earth would they change the recipe for something so astronomically successful??

edit: I actually ordered another bottle from EuroJanty (cos I thought ivapour might be cutting corners - sorry about that ;-)) and, assuming it's the same stuff, it looks like I've wasted another 7 quid!

Hey guys,

Just a short note to let you know that there has been some sort of mixup with some of our liquids.

The mixed up liquids are _not_ bad as in there is nothing wrong with it - its just not the same formula as we normally have.

I have personally taken steps to ensure that from this point on in time ALL Janty liquids will be the EXACT same as we have always used - which means = High quality, RY-4 as we know it, cappucino as we know it and so on.

So while i do apologize for the experiences you have had, i can assure you this wont happen again.

Well, you can quote me on it - but what i am saying now is only pertaining the USA vendors, i am not currently aware of the situation in Europe. It could be that they still have some unsold bottles of the new liquid that they need to sell before it clears up and they go back to the normal stuff.

So - if you quote me, please include that as well.

As of right now, i only know that JantyUSA is completely free of the "new" bottles, and will go back to the old ones from this point on. The plan is for every other shop to do the same - but if that happens over one day, or a month, i do not know - sorry. But it will happen!

That's as maybe, but in Europe that's most certainly NOT the case. I've just received my bottle of RY4 from EuroJanty and it's the same pale, sickly colour as the bottle I got from ivapour.co.uk. High strength RY4 would be of a much darker, more golden hue. So I'm not even going to open it. This stuff is completely lacking in the subtle after taste that makes RY4 so special. Hopefully I can get it exchanged, or get a free replacement sent out, cos I'm certainly not vaping any more of it. It's horrid.

I recently received my Capp from Janty and the flavor is nothing like the stock I last received in July and prior. I'm thankful I didn't order en masse like I did before as this batch is quite disappointing.

Was there a change in the supplier for Janty liquids or was the classic Capp a victim of reformulation due to changes or health information/concerns? I heard rumors they changed suppliers at one point, but can't seem to find anything definitive about it.

Comparing it to my last little bit I have been hanging onto and using sparingly, the liquid is now a much more reddish and lighter tint. The smell is now like a majority of the various Capp flavors out there opposed to the yummy sweetness of before.

The old ingredient label read: 76% PG, 12% LINALOOL, 10% GRASS flavouring,2% Vanillin.
New is PG, Vanilla Extract, LINALOOL,2.5-DIMETHYLPYRAZINE, 2-AVCETYLPYRAZINE.

I loved the old Janty Capp and had quite a stockpile that is now all gone and no comparable substitute to that sweet, milky goodness found anywhere. Was hoping someone might help me out with some information on if there's anything like it out there, or if maybe Janty is rotating suppliers now so there will be a wide variation of flavor from stock to stock?
