I am presently in the Philippines and lost my original kayfun Lite-Plus.

Now I have to replace it, but getting another authentic kayfun over here is imposible.

How about an eleaf Lemo 2? .... It's cheap, it's rebuildable, works a lot like a Kayfun, and I can get one over here.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with this Lemo 2?

Thanks,
Ron

The Lemo 2 can be pretty hit or miss. Some love the thing, others swear it's a complete pita (probably been more "i can't stop getting dry hits" threads created over the Lemo 2 tank then any other in vaping history).

Really though, unless the top fill is that big a deal for you the Lemo or Lemo Drop is probably a better fit for your vape setup anyway. With a similar setup on all 3 I'd rate both as giving slightly better flavor, and the build experience will likely feel most similar to what you are already used to.

Lemo 2 is all I've been using since it came out, used lemo origional before that.

If you build it right, it's hard to beat.
If you wick it wrong, leaks/dry hits/curse words.

I vape 80%vg on it with no issues, but I rarely chain vape over 30 watts.

Lemo deck was designed with macro coils in mind, I'm talking 3mm+. 90% of all the "dry hit/flooding" threads are due to people using their kayfun style micro coil builds and being unable to wick properly. I know this because I had the same problems when I switched from my 91% Russians to lemo 1.

I ordered a Lemo 2 last Wednesday and it finally came in today (Tuesday) after the Post Office sent it to the wrong city. I was so excited about finally getting it. I have 2 Russian 91% that I have been building around 0.1 ohm Ni200 coils on for the past week and they work really well. I have loosened the airflow screws way up and can MTL hit or DLH as I choose. Now for the downer on the Lemo 2. Once I had it out of the box, I took the bottom off and put it on my ohm meter to see what the resistance was on the prebuilt coil. All I got was a big OL (Open Line). I played with it some more and tried again. Same result. I then put the base on my Sigelei 150W TC and got 0.0 ohms. So then I got out the real Ohm meter and found that the bottom center pin was not making contact with the bottom of the deck screw. Very poor design for an otherwise well made device. I did tap on the center pin a little and was able to get some contact, but the ohms were just jumping around. Not acceptable for Temp Control at all. I boxed it back up and sent it back 30 minutes after opening. If Eleaf ever changes the dual pin in the bottom, I may reconsider, but for now I am searching for another tank.

I had the original and liked it but it was a pain to fill and the airflow control kept loosening up. I got the Lemo 2 and love it! You do need to build a big coil and stuff it with lots of cotton.

I love that I can fill it up without taking it off my Provari. Just so much easier...would love if my Kayfuns could do that!

For the positive pin contact problem, it's nothing an O-ring can't fix.
Where are you putting the o-ring? You can't loosen the screw holding the positive post in place. You can't put one under the contact pin because that would move it farther away from the bottom of the positve post screw. I'm open to ideas but a solid pin throughout would have been a better design.
