ANYVAPE CVI, not working!!?

My back-up VW, which is an ANYVAPE CVI will not turn on.
I think its a v1; i took it out a few days ago after a month or so of not using it. with a freshly charged battery it will not turn on despite all my efforts. A month ago it was working flawlessly.
Any suggestions, trouble shoots or assistance would be greatly appreciated. It has barely been used, and i can not figure out why its not working.

The only thing you can do is unscrew that little gold colored center pin on the bottom of the control head and screw it back in. When you screw it out, you should see a super tiny little spring, just make sure if it looks normal, not bent or pushed in. But that is the only thing I can think of. My anyvape 510 connector broke off completely so i took it completely apart. And that point seems to be the only point of failure I would think of,

Thank you! I hadn't even thought of trying to take off the pin. I will try this when i get home tonight, i truly hope is works!

I couldnt get it to unscrew. Pliers perhaps?
