This is my first review I'm posting on the site, and I do have a tendency to get a little bit sidetracked at moments, so please bear with me. If I am missing anything, or leave anything out, I apologize - feel free to correct me as you see fit. So, if you feel as though you will read my full (and fairly thorough) review, feel free to pull up a comfy chair, your favorite beverage and a nice vape.

A bit about me: I got into vaping recently to kick my 5 year habit of chewing tobacco use and have been doing a lot of research, watching video reviews, etc, and trying to control my spending habits. In two weeks I've acquired four different e-Cigs, six different tanks, four different head resistances, thirteen different flavors/mixes of juice, tried over a dozen other setups and built a few coils for my RSST.

After a few weeks of use of the Anyvape Davide BCC Glassomizer, here's what I've gathered.

Pros
Solidly built
Easy to take apart and clean
Holds a good amount of juice
Decent throat hit, retains a lot of flavor
Has good airflow

Cons
Unmarked head labeling on packaging
Inconsistent QC on heads before they leave the factory
Useless laser-etched QR code on bottom tank sleeve
Does not work well with anything over 50% VG mixes

Now, onto expanded story time:

The first Davide I got came in the box with the adapter, an extra head and the glassomizer equipped with one head.
The packaging did not have the little boxes checked for the resistance of the heads included, which was a bit discouraging.
In the unit, there was a 2.2Ω labeled head and the included extra was unmarked.
It tested at 2.0Ω - but this one was DOA and did not work at all.

My 2nd Davide came with a 2.2Ω and a 1.8Ω, both of which were labeled and have been working fine, but again, the packaging did not have the resistance marked on the outer packaging.

Both of these tanks have a QR code laser-etched onto the bottom part of the tank sleeve, but it is absolutely useless because the reflection of the steel in any light makes it impossible to scan with your smartphone. Sure, it looks all cool and science-y, but really, it's completely unnecessary.

It is a sturdy little unit. I have had my mods fall out of my pocket onto concrete due to my clumsiness. I was almost terrified of this happening because they put a nice disclaimer on the box more or less saying "it's glass - it can break!(but they can't check the resistance box, right? Haha). I'd say I've dropped each one at LEAST twice onto its side while attached to one of my mods. I've noticed no denting, no cracking of the pyrex tank, and it doesn't scratch very easily.

The Davide works well and provides a solid throat hit, and the juices I've used in it vape with a very good amount of flavor. It is not a massive, cloud-producing machine compared to any of the rebuildables, but is comparable to other tanks with similar technology. The ventilation from the bottom holes near the threading work well enough - just be sure your mod has airflow notches or holes at/near the top cap or this will give you a burnt, acrid taste in your mouth and you'll have a bad time. Also, as far as juices...I tried using a 70VG/30PG mix and the head was simply not strong enough to provide a good vape - it was bubbly, gurgly and just did not work well at all. All the 50VG/50PG mixes I have tried have worked flawlessly.

Filling the Davide requires a few more seconds than any clearomizer and there are a few extra steps. You have to unscrew the tank from the mod (and from the adapter sleeve if using an eGo style unit), turn the unit upside down (tip facing down) and then unscrew the knurled knob from the bottom tank sleeve. This is also where you will switch out heads. There are two decently sized fill holes - you don't need a needle-tip bottle, but it does help to prevent getting any juice from the center tube. To avoid that from happening, tilt the glassomizer at about a 45* angle and fill it up. It holds roughly 3ml of juice, maybe a bit more if you use a needle-tip bottle.

Final thoughts:
Overall it does provide a good vape (again, when using a 50/50 mix), and the metal near the coil stays relatively cool if you are using a bigger battery on a VV/VW or a mechanical. I wish the company would pay a little more attention to the heads that come in the packaging, test them and label them appropriately. For the price, I really can't complain too much, and it is a good, basic upgrade if you are going from a basic eGo clearomizer or other system. If you are looking to buy one, I recommend you buy locally so you can examine the unit before you purchase it.
