Hey guys,

So I bought a Davide glassomizer tank and a Davide mini glassomizer also. Disappointingly, they both leak!

The regular tank seeps liquid where you screw the base on and also leaks at the bottom of the tank. The mini does not leak at the bottom, but seeps liquid where you screw on the base. No matter how tight I screw the base on, the liquid still seeps through.

Has anyone had this problem? The Davide is a pretty pricey tank, so I was expecting much better. Can someone please help me out??? TIA!

I own a mini Davide. Mine has never leaked. The only problem I had with it was one of the seals to the center tube was missing when I unpacked it. I notified the place where I bought it and they mailed me a new seal.
One thing you have to do is make sure that you have all your seals. There should be one at the top and bottom of the tank (where the glass fits into the cap and bace), and one at both threaded ends of the center tube.
The coil bace should also have a seal just below the threads (the coil base is the part that holds the coil and screws into the tank base).
The coil itself should have a seal where it comes in contact with the coil base and also one where it comes into contact with the center tube.
Basicly there should be a seal everywhere something comes into contact with something else.
Another thing is that you might have things tightened too much. They only need to be finger tight. If you tighten it too tight it will bind the seals and cause a leake. Or it could even tear the seals.
So check all your seals, clean your unit and seals thoroughly (use a bowl of warm water, don't do it over the sink), and tighten it just enough. Then let us know how it works.

I bought a Davide as well, and it leaked at the bottom (through the 510 connection). I pulled out the base and unscrewed the coil, and it looked like the wick had been cut short on one side so it wasn't fully plugging the hole on one side.

I rewound the coil and put it back in, no more leaks!

As to the base of the Davide leaking, make sure that the o-ring on the base is intact and clean. Just a little bit of dust/grit/whatever between the seal and the body will provide enough space for juice to leak out.

A Kanger ProTank base will fit the Davide, but you'll probably end up paying almost as much for the base + shipping as you would for a new Davide, so hopefully it's just a matter of a dirty o-ring. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the replies everyone!!

Ok, so the advice definitely helped, and hopefully I stopped the leaking permanently. I found that I have to be EXTREMELY careful when handling Davide tanks. I have several different batteries, so I'm always pulling them on and off. I noticed if I'm not careful in pulling off the tanks (if I pull to hard, or twist it a little too much), then I loosen the tank from the bottom. I believe this has caused the leak. So I have to constantly push the top and bottom of the Davide together, and twist the mini Davide to tighten constantly.

Definitely not ideal, but something I have to live with I guess. I also have a Kanger Protank II, and it's been working like a champ (I originally thought it was leaking, but it was due to a missing part). I guess I'll have to pay the few extra buck for the PTs from now on though.

I saw your post about rewinding coils on the Any Vape Davide. How did you do that and is there a kit or instructions on how to do this somewhere?

I just bought a Davide and the darn thing let's juice pass through the coil and vapes like crap.

This is one of the many videos on YouTube on rebuilding the Kanger Protank coils; it's exactly the same with the AnyVape coils.
