Hey guys!

So recently i bought the silver Apollo mod by Ameraclone the same one that makes the FUhattan and i have been having some issues if any suggestions/advice please feel free to reply to this thread!

I have the plume veil sitting on the apollo with an LGHE2 battery. The fire button constantly gets hot and sometimes even sparks with builds like a parallel 4 wrap im sure its not the battery and the hybrid cap is tightened to the atty ive also cleaned the mod with alcohol but if i do the parallel build it still sparks. Ive done that same build with the same atty on the Manhattan and it has had no problems.

What can i do??

Oh dear lord. You don't know me from Adam, but I'm going to tell you to stop what you're doing right now, and the worst that can happen by listening to me is you aren't vaping for a bit until others show up with input. There are a few things you need to do:

1. Those sparks are either arcs or you're shorting the battery. Stop using it immediately and clean it thoroughly, especially the switch. This is your first step. STOP. TAKE IT APART. Learn how to clean it, then set it aside.

2. You have to figure out what battery you are using. You could and probably are overdrawing it, especially with a parallel build.

3. You need to figure out what ohm your coils are so you know what you're doing to the battery.

These links will be a start to figuring a few things out:

We're all here to help you, but in this case -- just trust me on this and stop right now so you and your house are still around to better understand what you were just doing. Those have a hybrid top cap, which, if your atty post is wrong, not long enough or something is misconfigured, can short your battery super quick, or it could be an issue with the switch.

A short basically tells the battery to dump everything it has as fast as it can, which as you can imagine can start damaging it's integrity very quickly. You could also simply be overdrawing the battery -- either way, stop for right now.
