Hey guys so i have an apollo mech mod with a velocity rda 0.2 ohm build with a LG HG2 battery.
I've cleaned the entire mod twice, but the mod hardly fires, and the button gets really hot sometimes and also sometimes sparks. ive found its tilted to one side abit you'll see in the pics. i just wnt a nice consistent vape and i cant get it with this thing for hours ive been tryin to fox it.

Same problem happened to me with an Astro telescopic. Low power to the atty but the switch button got real hot. Problem was a plastic bushing in the switch assembly was slightly misaligned after I had disassembled, cleaned and reassembled it. I disassembled the switch again, found the problem, realigned the plastic part and that fixed it.

1) Most important. Check your batteries for arc spots, the PVC sheathing.
2(Rebuild that Atomizer to 0.35 minimum, or buy some Sony VTC3 or LG HB6 for that mech and rebuild it to 0.25 minimum. Quit playing with danger.
3) Disassemble the switch and check all the parts, springs, magnets, contact pin, look for any black spots this will indicate where it was sparking and arching, clean up what it causing it and reassemble the switch again, testing its throw before trying it back on the mod.

Im not using it. ive taken it all apart and cleaned it good. but that little black piece you can see in my pic doesnt look like the one posted. the little silver ring its attached to moves around but thats all. no black spots from arching or on the battery. im trying with a 0.8 clapton and it fires but not all the time, button still gets hot, but i dont see any sparks.
