Got the sample pack today, ordered five flavors to try: green apple, clove, peach mango, classic menthol, and menthol breeze, all in 12 mg strength, and their website states that their e-juice is 60/40 PG/VG ratio.

Since I generally vape the menthol flavors exclusively, I started with the other three flavors. After filling the blank cartomizers that I bought just for this purpose, I allowed them to steep for a few hours. What I liked right off the bat was the elongated tips of their bottles, as they allow for easier dripping into the cartomizers.

I started with the green apple flavor. The one thing I noticed right off the bat was that, for some strange reason, it made me cough. That never happened with the menthol flavor I vaped. The apple taste was very there, but very faint, and didn't produce as much vapor as I would have expected. Not bad, but after this batch is finished, I won't be getting this one again.

The clove was next. I never smoked clove cigarettes, but I have been curious about the e-juice. The flavor was pure clove, very tasty and VERY aromatic. In fact, this is the only flavor I've ever tried that actually left a noticeable odor in the air for minutes afterwards. Very nice TH as well as flavor. While researching clove smoking, I learned of a numbing after-effect of smoking clove cigarettes, and I can attest that this sensation is present in the e-juice as well. Despite this sensation, however, I will add this flavor to my batch of preferred flavors. I do know that this isn't the flavor to vape if you don't want anyone to know you're vaping, that's for sure.

The last one was the peach mango. Like the green apple, the flavor was there, but light, although this flavor didn't make me cough. It produced decent vapor and a nice flavor, and while it was okay, it's also not one that I'll get again. Still, it was nice to try it.

So that's it: all in all, the only flavor I really liked was the clove, and as I said, it leaves a noticeable aroma in the air, so no sneak-vaping with this flavor. I would like to know why the green apple flavor made me cough like it did, when none of the others ever did. I didn't even cough when smoking cigarettes.

im a fan of the apollo RY4. its been my ADV since i started. the almond joy and banana cream are really good too. seems all the flavoring is subtle, but nice. nothing too overpowering. im not a menthol guy, so i cant comment on those, but the RY4 is the best i have had so far, and i have spent a small fortune buying up some of the top contenders from the big RY4 roundup thread.haha

It's good to know that it wasn't just me who thought the flavors were subtle, although the clove was very strongly flavored, but not unpleasantly so.

BTW, what's the RY4 taste like?

I get dif. Flavirs depending on what I use. In a clearo, I get the vanilla, subtle tobacco but I also get very slight hints of caramel and berry. In a carto tank, I get the above, minus the berry but then I get what I think may be hints of marshmallow or cotton candy... IMO, its the best I have tried so far...

Yeah, I also find most of Apollo's flavors to be present, but mellow. It's really not a bad thing in my opinion because over the top flavored juices wear out there welcome quickly for me. There RY4 would be one of my primary juices if I didn't like Halo's Tribeca a bit more. I've sampled a lot of their juices and overall I think they do a pretty nice job with their lineup.

I agree with you about the subtlety of the juice flavors, if they're too overpowering, it's just not enjoyable to me. But for the sake of a relatively objective viewpoint, I was putting that information out there, because I'm sure that there are some people who like a stronger flavor in their e-juice.

It's interesting just how popular the Tribecca e-juice has gotten; it appears to be an overwhelming favorite.
