About a month ago, after about a week of watching youtube
reviews, reading forums, and agonizing over the choices, I pulled the trigger and got the Superior Ego starter kit. I was smoking over a pack a day for over 25 years, and had tried the gum, patch, etc. to no avail. I haven't had a cigarette since I opened the package, and haven't wanted to. I always have a battery on charge and one with me, but have gone over a day without switching and have yet to run one all the way down, and I vape a lot during the course of the day. The CE4 tanks that came with it didn't hold enough liquid for me to get through the day, though, and I found I'd get the occasional drop of ejuice in my mouth, so I ordered a couple T3 tanks to try that out and am very happy with them. No drips in the mouth, the bigger tank lasts me all day, and though I've read about some folks having leak issues, personally I have had none despite despite dropping it a time or two. Or three. I'm debating trying the Protank, mainly holding back because it's glass, and I am clumsy. Got a sample pack of flavors, and it was kind of a mixed bag. As a menthol smoker, I tried the Classic Tobacco Menthol (meh), Menthol (my go-to so far), and Menthol Breeze (okay, but not my fave). For some variety I also tried the Cherry (good on its own, and mixes well with the Menthol), Mango Peach (loved it, wish the flavor was a smidge stronger though), French Vanilla (good for the first few puffs, but too sweet for my taste), and Green Apple (god-awful. I dunno if I got a bad bottle or something, but was mostly just chemical-tasting). I'm super happy with the decision to go with Apollo. Working at a bar I see a lot of folks with e-cigs these days, and having since tried numerous other brands, I'm still satisfied that I made the right choice starting with the Superior Ego. My next decision is whether to try the Ego VV next or jump right on up to the VTube!
