Hello Apollonians! I have to say, I am a huge Apollo fan. I purchased the variable voltage ego (ego-vv) a few weeks ago along with some Kanger T3s/rocketomizers. Unfortunately the bottom plate of the battery came off when removing the passthru charging cable. Promise I'm not freakishly strong. I fired up the chat window on apollo's website and was halfway thru talking to Tim S. about it when my laptop battery died. I asked him if he could email me back with more information right before the computer died... I didn't check my email til after 8pm that night, and responded to the email Tim sent.

Tim emailed me back pretty much right away, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS AT HOME/NOT AT WORK. (!!!) I was shocked, told him he didn't have to do that... It wasn't a pushy email or anything, I swear. But he replied that he knew how bad it was to be out a battery and wanted to get my RMA started as soon as possible so I wouldn't be without a battery for long.

Now, I chose Apollo for my battery b/c of the excellent 1 year warranty and that it was comparably priced to other vendors. Most vendors won't warranty ego style batteries for more than three months (I saw one for 30 days, and one that was DOA only!), but I am for certain going to return for my future purchases because of the customer service. I don't think these guys should be replying to work emails after hours, but the fact they do because they understand vapers means a lot of care went into hiring them as customer service agents. I can and do get behind good customer service, and this was some of the best I've experienced in quite a while.

No pics since my broken variable voltage is on its way home to Apollo... but maybe when its new brother gets here :)

Thanks Apollo!

(My only complaint... when I ordered my vv there wasn't a 1200mah option-- I see one now! Want!)

Well hi and welcome to the thread.

And I think we all want!

Hello to you all too! I was actually showing a friend what to add to his cart for his first battery order ever (new vaper), and was like... what's this dropdown box? What do you mean, 1200mah?! :)

ARGH. Jealously is not a good look, I keep reminding myself! Though the 650mah version (original) I have hasn't petered out capacity-wise for me at all. I never thought I would enjoy using a passthru, but right now I'm using my backup regular style ego while I wait for my return to be processed and I keep thinking... is it going to die on me before the end of the day? I got used to the battery meter on the apollo variable volt as well as being able to charge while using, spoiled for anything else :)

Good Morning Apollonians!!! The great thing about the Apollo eGo VV is that it can function as a passthrough while it chrges..but once it's charged you can unplug it and go...or continue to use it as a passthrough. Versatility...that's what I'm talking about...options!! Great pics of gear and vapers guys....keep em coming!!
