How did the threads get stripped???

It's just wear and tear I guess. I had a problem with my original full size Stainless V-Tube where the whole connection was loose and would come out. I would have to push it back in. Then I was able to trade it back in but had to get a mini because there weren't any full size stainless ones left. I hate the battery life on the mini but now I can only use the few ego threaded attachments that actually do thread on. All 510 attachments won't thread on.

Thanks!! I just might have to try that. Right now It's kind of useless.

Thanks for the advice but I do know how to screw on a carto. I have many devices but only have had problems with this one. I love my V-Tube but I have almost given up on the problems I have with threading. Even brand new it seemed ro have a lot of play while threading.

I was not meaning to imply that you don't know how to thread on a carto...:) If it was shipped to you with faulty threading my suggestion would be to contact Customer Service and ask for an RMA to get it replaced....occasionally some things can get by QC...we're all human...well....except us cats of course...

We can all dream, right?

I think I would sign up for that.

You got an adapter like the 510 to 510.
Get some Permtex Red and put a drop on the adapter (the treads) and screw on and then let dry......best give it a day.

That's a smart idea jj!!

No offense taken. My warranty is probably up and I doubt there are any stainless ones left. Like I said I already had to downgrade to a mini when my original full size had issues. It's not that big of deal. I feel I got my monies worth out of it.
