Naw,I remember high school daze, and I get it.I didn't go to Mayfield because my dad didn't want his kids going where he taught.Do you remember Miss karen Haus(sp?) She was a former Miss Ohio and taught math and all the guys swooned over her.

The monkeys the poor sod had to deal with at MHS was probably a major contributory factor to his hot temper, definitely a factor in his desire to keep you away. Don't remember Haus at all.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking about the apollo ego variable voltage... apollo is carrying the 1200mah version now as well! I have one on order... waiting (im)patiently :)

I had the 650 and loved it too-- I never ran the battery all the way down, but I was also often plugged in thru the passthru.

Hmm... that would have been nice to see before I had bought my ego starter kit. But thanks for the heads up!

Well, if you really wanted one and received your ego kit within the past 30 days, Apollo has a 30 day money back guarantee. You could return your ego kit and purchase the variable voltage version... I have found their online chat to be helpful-- you may want to contact them thru chat and ask how you can arrange a return & rebuy the battery you want.

Just a heads up though, they don't have the 1200's in hand/stock yet-- I've been waiting for mine anxiously for several days, after placing the order when I found out they had them on their website. They are waiting for their shipment, which may have to do with the Chinese holiday going on right now (that is affecting vendors across the board, not just Apollo).

I enjoyed the VV version (650mah), but the ego's are nice as well-- I steered my mom towards them as they are simple, reliable and inexpensive enough to have several on hand. This is my mom's ego setup:

Good luck with your decision!
