Hi Kitty:
I got my second Apollo replacement battery in the mail yesterday (both of the two I initially purchased failed for varying reasons). This one appears to be different from both the originals and the one replacement I already received - it's about 5 mm taller and has a white fire button instead of a blue one. I haven't burned it out yet, but I'm assuming it's one of the ones that goes from white when charged to blue in the middle when dying to all blue when almost dead. Several hours of use and it's still going strong, which is great.
Much more impressed with this one. My wife's replacement battery has already had issues - the metal connection that includes the fire button has broken loose from the main battery and was sitting at a slant - I was able to bend it back into place so the clearo aligns with the tube, but not sure if it's still safe to use - please advise if we should discontinue use.
Also, if you've recently switched suppliers for your batteries, kudos. The fourth one I received seems to be of much higher quality than the first three...that is, I'm a day and a half in and it hasn't malfunctioned. Please pass along my continued thanks to customer service for great response, and that if they have switched up their product they've got something a lot better now than what they had before.
EDIT: I originally suggested Kitty had deleted some of my prior posts - a complete mistake on my part, I was looking at the wrong page of the member reviews thread.
