The Apollo Extreme arrived today.
I bought the extreme starter kit and a PCC (sold seperately).
A fully assembled e-cig does not fit in the PCC, which is pretty disappointing. But, these cigs are quite long. At the moment the PCC is just bordering on the clunky side. Also, the charging hole for the PCC is second from the left, which isn't a big deal, but I thought it would make more sense to have it at the end. Also, the cartemizer holders in the PCC are so close together I'm finding it quite difficult to remove them. SO I spend a good minute or so messing around with it trying to get a cart out.
The carts themselves are wrapped in a black sticker. Looks a little cheap.
The kit came with 5 disposable carts. I chose the tobacco flavour (24mg nic I think). This flavour is actually pretty good. There seems to be a hint of caramel in there that I really like. The cig itself also draws really well, smooth, although I think the amount of vapor is lacking, though this might be remedied by using different e liquids.
Can't comment on battery life yet as I have literally only had it for like an hour.
I have filled one refillable cart so far and it was very easy. The white lid came off with little force and slips back on nicely. Other carts I have had in the past have been a bit of a struggle to get off, so I like that.
Overall though, I'm not really seeing the value here. If the batteries last as long as I hope (3 hrs plus) then I might change my mind, but as it is, I'm not too keen. This kit is being gifted to my dad anyway, and he seems happy with it for his first kit, so that's all that really matters, I guess.
Now I'm just waiting for my joyetech eRoll to arrive!
