Apollo Vtube Mini
This is my first real review of a product. I just wanted to say this wasn't given to me for free for review, I paid my hard earned money for it. I will try to be honest and unbiased and disregard what I've read on the forums.

First impression: I put the battery to fully charge while I looked and played with the vtube. The black finish looks nice enough, the Apollo logo looks cool however the font for vtube is not to my liking; although not a deal breaker. Without the battery the vtube felt extremely light; much lighter than I would have expected. It is definitely top heavy, with little weight at all towards the bottom. The cap weighs almost nothing and looks fairly cheap. I paid 56 dollars shipped for the whole kit to my house and this is my first experience with a mod. At this point I can't wait for the battery to charge so I can try it.
Build quality: The only other device I current own is an ego c twist. There is little basis for comparison of the two in my opinion so I’ll just break it down as best as I can. The tube as a whole doesn't give off the best impression of quality, nor the worst. It has a strange feel in the hand, with my vi vi nova tank and the battery in, the weight distribution feels off. With the cap and battery screwed on all the way, it feels more or less solid, except the button assembly. The main button does have a good clicky feel to it however the power and the voltage buttons do not fare as well. They are tiny (as much as I looked at the pictures, I didn't realize they were this small), and on press seem to need fair too much pressure to work. The button assembly also rattles around if you shake the vtube, which really sets off my OCDness. The LCD screen is works pretty well, but if I rotate the vtube away from me and look into the LCD screen from the bottom in, I see either dust trapped already, or extra glue. I can't particularly tell what it is and my cellphone camera cannot take a good enough macro shot to show it. The LCD screen itself looks unimpressive on its edges, looking slightly rough inside.
Size: Roughly the same height as the ego c twists 650mah battery. The diameter is slightly bigger than the vi vi nova, and the ego adapter C (for bigger tanks and vi vi nova). It’s feels like 3 times the diameter of the ego c twist (however it is not after measuring lol). Feel in hand, in terms of the actual size of it feels pretty good. I did not expect the mini to be this small to be honest, so this is perfect. It feels perfect in my pocket, stands up straight on a desk and big enough not to wobble around my cup holder in my car.

Measurements:
Height w/out a top: 3 3/4"
Height w/ Vi Vi Nova: 6 1/4"
Diameter: 7/8"
Ego C Twist 650mah height (just battery): 3 7/8"
Ego C diameter: 1/2"

Operation:
Holding the power button for 5 seconds turns it on/off. The voltage is easy enough to use and figure it. It fires great, haven't had a misfire yet (however it is brand spanking new). With the vi vi nova 2.4 ohm coil, I’ve been vaping at my regular 3.7v, and up to 4.4v. No problems what so ever. Great vape, great throat hit on the slightly higher voltages. I'm waiting on a few boge LR and SR cartos to come in so I can test those out. The 510 atty that came with it works excellent. I've never had just the atty before so it was a fun little learning experience. Went and sampled all the juice I had recently purchased (and haven't tried yet). Was a really fun experience and good setup for a nice little review of 10 VapeDudes liquids. Seemed to handle everything I threw at it just fine. At this time I only have the one battery provided by Apollo, I charged it last night, used it for maybe 10 minutes on and off and for the past 2 hours. Everything seems to be going smooth for now. to be fair to the ego twist, this does the same exact thing, has nearly the same battery, but for some odd reason, it just makes more sense to have even that slight bit more control of the voltage. Whether or not the voltage reads accurately, I do not know as I have no way to measure it at the moment, however I haven't gotten any burned hits so it seems fine for now. Lastly, this isn’t so much about the product but my personal preference. The metal drip tip that came with the vtube is strange. I’ve never been a fan of putting metal objects in my mouth. I can always seem to taste it, which is unfortunate because I think it looks awesome lol. Oh well, life goes on with my delrin one.
Summation:
Do I believe this product is amazing? Not particularly.
Do I like it? Yes I do.
Do I believe it’s worth the money? Definitely, at $56 dollars to my door, I have absolutely no regrets.
The Apollo vtube isn't ground breaking by any means. It isn't unique both in terms of style and function. It does absolutely the same thing my ego c twist does and I wouldn't even say particularly better. However, it just having a screen to control voltage that lights up makes it worth it to me. I'm tired of accidentally adjusting my twist voltage and then trying to reset it back to where it was in the dark. Hell, even in the light it’s hard to see that little dot. It may not be the best product out there, but considering my ego c twist, charger and vision ce4 stardust, cost me around $40 dollars, this product is well worth the money.
I believe it’s a great starter product. This truly makes me want to try different mods and VVs. One day when my money is right...
I will add an update for longevity after a couple months. Any constructive criticism or suggestions would be awesome as well!
