Apparently refilling cartomizers voids battery warranty?

Just in case you guys didn't know. Even though they say you can refill the carts on a KR808D-1, it apparently voids the warranty on the battery. I got a kit from Drew (Nhaler.com), and after not even a month one of the batts quit on me. Drew replaced the battery, but Angie sent a note with the replacement saying: We will replace it this time, but we will not continue to replace them if you refill the carts. Just wanted everyone to know. I think they should tell us somewhere that it is not recommended, and can prematurely kill batteries. It is going to be a lot more expensive if I can't refill my carts.

So um, maybe just don't mention you refill carts? ;)

Or you could buy from someone that doesn't have that restriction? Or from anyone that sells blank carts- they can't exactly hold it against you if they sold you the blanks to fill yourself in the first place, right?

Thanks, they are a little higher, but if they will stand behind the battery I'll give it a shot.

nHaler's batts are $16. But you can get batts from V4L for anywhere from $12.50 - $20. V4L also has those insane xtra long batts (380mAh) on sale for $16.50 right now. They sell blank cartos for $9.

I guess my point is to just buy from anyone that also sells blank cartos. It means they are selling you the batteries and the cartos knowing full well you intend to refill them- so they couldn't hold it against you for using it the way they're selling them to you.

btw, I just watched a grimmgreen video about refilling. He mentioned putting that long stopper in the center while refilling in order to not kill the battery. Don't know if you do that but here's the video:

Yeah, how exactly would they know whether you refilled them or not? Strange...

just be carefully really...

don't over fill , if it gurgles ... you used to much juice... it's a fine line... usually 3-5 drops after every vaping session does me just fine.

i have killed KR batteries by overfilling cartomizers , i don't think they were designed to be refilled , it's just lucky for us that it happens to work pretty well.
