Do they kill the sharks just for you to cut up?

They are farmed specifically for this purpose I think. In high school, half of the ones we cut up were pregnant females. Today they were all mail. So maybe they're being more ecologically friendly about the whole process anyway.

In high school, there were a bunch of preppy girls in my zoology class. You know, cheerleader types. I guess they thought that Zoology would be an easy credit. Invariably, I got saddled with one of them when it came time to do dissections. They would squeal, and flail their little hands around, and act terrified of the entire process. When we discovered these unborn, pickled baby sharks, I was a little bit horrified. they wanted to squeal with delight at how cute they work and take pictures posing with them.

Somehow, I was the freak, because I wore black. Makes no damn sense.

Well JJ. i think it's fascinating and educational. I don't enjoy that animals have to die for me to do it though. I understand completely if you don't enjoy it, or if you don't have the stomach or Constitution for dissections. I can respect that. But when you're setting women's Lib back 50 years by throwing a squealing girlie dramatic fit At the prospect of dissecting something, it makes no sense for you to then want to pose with and take pictures of dead baby sharks that I just cut out of its mother's uterus.

ETA I mean a generalized you, not you specifically.
