Could it possibly be the atomo?

Looks similar to the atomo...not the same I don't think though. Here's a pic

I have the Atom from FT (clone)... happen to be using it now. It's my second favorite next to the nemesis. If there's a "real" version of this, it has to be brilliant. The only downside is that if you set it down, it fires. You have to use the lock ring. Not sure the real one has this problem.
Ok, watching a youtube review now. Reviewer says copper contacts. Mine has brass. Reviewer also said the bottom delrin ring compresses which can cause the battery to fire if you tighten down to much. Mine does not have this issue. The delrin piece is taller.
Materials and engraving look much better on the real version.
Hmm... not sure I'm not helping. Watch the youtube vids. =)

I have the APV atom too, and it is my favorite mods next to the nemesis. I originally bought the Fasttech clone first, and loved it so much I went out and bought the real things. It is a wonderful wonderful device. The reason I wanted it was because it was small. It's even smaller than the nemmy in 18350. The button is smooth, the threading is very smooth. It is a really high quality device. I mean I really love it. Even the Fasttech version is a pretty damn good mod. And YES, (I have the V2 version) has silver coated pins (top pin is floating).here's a pic of my nemmy's and the atom.

Unless you're dead set to get the real thing, the clone from FT works exactly the same as the authentic. I have both and love them a ton, but actually enjoy the clone more because it hits the same and I take it out of the house whereas the authentic never leaves the house. I'm using it now, at work, and love this little guy with an 18500 battery :)

I've been eyeballing the atom clones. It's good to hear they work well. I already have Hcigar Nemesis and Origin clones and they are both pretty full featured. The Atom is a draw because of it's size in 18350 mode. Which is the mode I most commonly run them in. (As mech's have basically taken over from any VV/VW gear as the daily vape) Like all things that get used these are already starting to show use.

So this pretty much settles it. I'm definitely getting an atom clone now.

THANKS GUYS... said my wallet. Never.

Just for giggles, here's a photo of the actual atom with the clone (the clone is mainly used for going out and about so I don't damage real thing). The clone works great, however it is not actually the same size as the authentic atom. It's like someone in China made a copy with the correct proportions but size wrong. On the downside the clone is slightly bigger if you are looking towards compactness, on the plus side, the steel used in the clone is thicker than the actual so it may be more robust.
