Hello,

I have been looking and looking but I can't find specific discussion on my question. If it's out there, please forgive me. I am in the market for an APV VV. And it seems that most of them can display ohm resistance. Do you find that you trust the lower end models, like gripper, VAMO, etc for giving accurate readings? Or would you still recommend using and getting a digital multi-meter?

you can geta MM if you dont trust the mod but most of them are fairly accurate. one thing to do if you would like to be more sure is get a cheap MM from home depot or harbor freight and check the atty first then check it with the mod, once you see the difference, if any, you will know how to adjust in your head. but in most cases the circuitry used for checking in the mod is pretty much the same as a cheap MM as it is fairly simple.
