Hello,

So I am new to the whole vaping thing, been off cigarettes for a week. I did a little research before I ordered my first ecig but apparantly not enough. I started ordering from Electronic Cigarette | Aqua Vapor Cig Official Home | Best Quality Electronic Smokeless Cigarettes You Can Buy because they are somewhat local to me and I couldn't find any bad reviews on them. I went a little crazy and started with their classic Best Electronic Cigarette / eCig Starter Kit with Portable Charging Case (Classic RN4081 e Cig) - Premium Quality e Cigs from AquaVapor Cig then ordered their Ego 510 Electronic Cigarette / eGO Starter Set - Quality ecigs from Aqua Vapor Cig Atlanta, Ga and finally their 510 One model 510 ONE Electronic Cigarette / eCig PCC Starter Kit - Best Quality eCigs | eCigarettes from AquaVapor Cig becuase the 510 model seemed more versatile.

Now almost $200 later after finding this sight and doing a little more research I am begining to see that this probably wasn't the best choice. I am not saying this company is bad, just that there seem to be companies with with better quality products out there.

My question is this, now that I have found ECF and all the helpful advice here should I start over completly with a new starter kit or continue using the equipment I already have? I have already ordered some eliquid from some places listed here but I wasn't sure on how much difference new batteries and cartomizers and things of that sort would be.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Think it comes down to how much you have to spend. Go to utube do a search under ecigs. Hundreds of reviews you can learn a lot. I did the!samething. Bought 2 starter kits. Then a big battery 510 and finally a Provari from provape. Only use the provari now it is a variable volt mod Great device. Good luck.

You know, LemJe...I think the kit you have is a good one, nothing wrong with a standard 510 kit as they are small and a great place to start. As you explore, you will find ecig mods that look less like cigs, but have better performance and battery life. You will find many of us have multiple devices that we use depending on are wants and needs! I like the idea of the ego twist and ProVaps Provari which is the Rolls Royce of ecig mods. That being said, their are so many devices that are great, so do your research and buy based on your personal needs.

Well, I did the same thing, except I got the 510 one. Big mistake, got it with one auto battery and one manual battery. They won't last for two hours vaping and their like marlboro cartos sucked. Then bought a KGO from Hoosier a lot cheaper, all 510 threads, and got two 1100 mah batteries, with the atomizers, and tips. Didn't like the tips, easy to fill, but too often. I bought a clearomizer for it and problem solved. Also, got 510 clearos from Gotvapes, 1.5 ml bottom coil, and they work great too. Then bought an 808 smokeless image system for out and about, 78 mm, 808 threads, and got their clearomizer, and they work great, and great customer service. You EGO with the 900 mah battery will be fine for the most part, and you can get clearomizers for it for less refilling, in my opinion, the rest was a waste of money. Just my two cents, if that helps.

The question is, has it helped you quit/cut down on smoking?

If it has, it was a pretty good investment in your future. If it's not doing it for you there are remedies with the equipment you already have such as finding an e-liquid that's the right strength for you or some low resistance cartomizers.

You may have gotten it a tad cheaper somewhere else, but that's the case with everyone so it won't go to waste. Even if you move to a different pv, you can always use your current equipment as a backup or to help others quit.

I started with a similar setup when I first started vaping and used it for a year before I got a different pv. Worked for me.

Im still new myself but I have to be one of those people buzzzlove spoke of.

I started with a cig2o starter kit like the one you have as well. Went to a titan system and finally found my preferred setup using an ego twist and the Kanger T2 Clears.

Im not saying this will be your thing, you just need to find out what you are looking for as there are thousands of different setups.

Do you want to drip?
Do you need something you can just fill and go?
What type of battery life do you need?
What size equipment are you looking for?
Do you require VV?
Do you like a warm or cool vape?

From the sounds of it the most important thing you need to figure out is you budget and if your wanting to go all out or take it step by step.

You will get many different opinions on this board on many different setups. You just need to figure out what you like.

I just ordered some cartomizers and a clearomizer from AltSmoke. I figure I will keep using theses batteries for now and go from there.
So by the begining of next week I will have my new ejuice, I wasn't impressed with what I tried from Aquavapor, and can maybe get some actual taste cause all I want right now is a Marlorro lol

I havn't trried dripping yet.
Fill and go sounds real good thus the clearomizer
I am not to worried about battery life at the moment since I can ussually charge wherever I am
Size is something else Im not to worried about at the moment though I do feel most comfortable with something cigarette size
Don't even know what VV is.
Warm works for me.
Thanks to everyone for the help on this :)

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. I never even intented to quit when I started vaping. Of course I'm glad I did but it just slowly happened. Once I figured everything out and found a liquid I liked, I realized I liked it better than smoking.

A 510 is a good mini, and an ego will give you a good vape. Next challenge is to find a liquid you like.

Good luck!

Nice to see you got something. I personally suggest Buying a 30ml and 10ml bottle of what your going to use on a daily basis. Use the 30ml at home and take the 10ml with you.

That's the plan but so far I am still trying to find something I like enough to be my all day vapor. Once I find that I will definitly order a big bottle.

That Boba's and Gandolf are great choices, my two fave tobacco juices. Do you have them yet? You are on the right track now, my friend. I was lucky enough to find this place before I made my first purchase. I research things to death when something piques my interest. It's saved me a lot of money through the years.
