So i just recieved my AR mod from Vapor Hub yesterday and sometimes I am noticing the bottom button getting rather warm/hot. It has happened 2-3 times espically if i am dry burning my coil/building my coil or sometimes chain vaping on it. I heard the spring that it comes with is rather dinky(in which yes, it is) so i pulled the spring out of my Caravela clone which is a bit bigger and stronger. When it heats up I immeadiately unscrew the bottom and pop my VTC4 out and do a visual inspection of any tear, hole, or malfunction that could lead to a faulty or bad battery, but i find nothing. The negative end isnt really warm and neither is the battery, just the button getting hot. It seems everytime i fire, the second time i fire im getting a stronger hit, and sometimes when vaping it gets cool when im vaping and hits in and out. I check it on my ohms meter and it still says .56 on my dual coil set up and i double checked my post connections and made sure the coils werent touching the post. Is this just due to a poor connection to my Patriot, or my battery? Or perhaps a combination of both. I have been fiddling with it constantly because the copper contact on the top screwed all the way in will not let my Patriot sit flush so I have to unscrew it which in return pushes my battery farther down in the tube so then my bottom cap will not screw on completly either. For the best solid connection which is most important? the bottom button screwed all the way in or my top? or somewhere in the middle for both ends? Also the copper contact on the bottom button, when pushed in, how far should it extend beyond the rubber ring around my bottom button? like just barely visible or should the entire pin be unscrewed to where it is completly visible? I cleaned all my copper contacts with rubbing alcohol when it came in, but should i consider sanding it down and clipping off a mm on my positive pin to let it screw all the way in and let it sit flush? i have magnets on the way in the mail
