Hello everyone,
So, I picked up an Arctic sub tank last week and at first, everything was great. It has really good flavor/clouds and hasn't leaked or done anything weird. Now though, I am having two issues with it that I hope someone here can shed some light on for me.
1. I took the tank apart yesterday to clean/rinse it and when I took out the glass I noticed that the o-rings (the little rubber rings on either cap that screw between the glass) actually came off with the glass and were stuck to the ends (both sides) of the glass tube. I put the tank back together after rinsing and it "seems" ok but is this going to be a big problem? Either with leaking, or pressure or whatever? Should I be concerned that this happened?
2. The following issue probably doesn't have anything to do with #1 as it was happening a day or two before #1 occurred. I've been getting a lot of "popping," "crackling" and some "spitting" out of my Arctic the last few days. I didn't really notice much of this the first week I had it but the last 3 days or so, it seems like this is happening quite a bit (on 2 different coils). Anyone experience this with the Arctic or can someone shed some light on the common causes of this and how to stop it? I don't mind a little pop when its heating up or whatever but the spitting thing is getting kind of annoying.
Any help you guys could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!
My setup:
IPV4S w/ Arctic Sub Tank using 0.2 nickel coils in temp control mode (store bought coils)
usually vape around 35j @ between 370 and 470 degrees (F).
I prime my coils by dropping a few drops of liquid on the wick slots on the coil and usually a few drops down the middle of the coils (leaning towards the cotton on the sides).
The last 2 liquids I used (both did #2 above) were Enter the Dragon by Gemini and Starship 1 by Space Jam (don't know if the liquid matters but wanted to list all info that could help).
