Well, I should add that I do usually recharge about every 3 hours because of the oomph factor. I figure I'll just wait until they are improved. I do find that the other suppliers batteries seem just as good as V4L . I don't care about the 13 sec cutoff, as I can't inhale that long!!!!

 neither can I! Nor do I need to even try when it has it's oomph.

Hi Katmar,
I wouldn't mind if it only lasted 4-5 hours if it had some oomph :D behind it for that amount of time. I would have to say I get maybe two cigs worth of good vapor and that's it. Then it is a struggle. Same with some of my shorter ones although I know they won't last as long as the longer batts. I don't know, maybe in reality it is the charger that is the real culprit.

oh wow. yeah definitely should be getting a lot more than that out of them before noticing a difference. Definitely sounds like either faulty charger or batteries. I'd offer to send you a charger to try but I gave all of my KR8 stuff to my father. And my Bloog chargers wouldn't work because of different threads. :|

Thank you Thy, that is a very kind thought. As it happens I had ordered another one with my last order for "down the road". Unfortunately, bonehead that I am, I unwrapped it yesterday, put it on the counter without paying much attention and the other one is right by it. Now I'm not sure which one is which. 8-o

I got my LeCig, E Cigarette, Ecigarettes, Electronic Cigarette, E Cigs kr8-1 and kr8-2 batteries in today.

The kr8-1 is NOT Kanger made and looks slightly different. They have 2 kits, a small for $30 and large for $50. This battery isnt dead yet and I have been vaping for about 3 hrs on it. Not sure at how many seconds it cuts off as because im an asthmatic cant take a drag for much longer than 5-7 seconds but it doesnt turn off during that time. I am very happy with this one and will get more in the future.

The kr8-2 is Kanger made and is identical to the Smoke 51 duo which I really like as well. I think the cut off is about 7 seconds.

i've had one from Innovapor that i wasn't too fond of.. lifespan was decent, but the draw--regardless of whether it was with a cartomizer or 901 atomizer--was horrifically tight. have one now from VaporKings that i use daily and love. the cutoff is 10 seconds, and while i can't give a definite report of the lifespan since i never leave the house with just one device (i keep my 1800mAh, 3.7V 510 box; a 5V 901/KR808 box; a manual 801; and the automatic KR808 either on me or in my car at *all* times) i can at least say that i've never reached for it & found it dead and i regularly go a day without charging it.

hope that helps. vape on, and all the best.

Short answer no.....

Kanger makes the KR808D-1 batterys, the V4L ones are also made by Kanger but they are made slightly different, the thread has a solid ring on the inside and 4 holes around it instead of 2, it's like sucking at air compared to my proper Kanger ones, I don't like them at all. The quality is obviously cheaper too because i've had several go dodgy and not 1 proper Kanger one give me any problems... try a battery from vaporkings.com, you'll notice the difference.

Thank you very much for posting this bit of info! Yes, I have use VaporKings.com a lot, however he is expensive on this blank KR808D-1 Carts at $1.85 each! That is $9.15 for 5 Blank Carts! His flavor carts are only $7, so what is up with this?

Where do you get cheaper blank KR808D-1 Carts?

Thank you! :)

I just ordered some yesterday from
https://www.cloudsofvapor.com/
for $6.99 a 5-pack.
There's a coupon code "bigbuyer" that gives you 10% off that.
Shipping for 5 packs was $6.

I have never ordered from them before, so don't know about CS but he responded VERY quickly to a PM from me and even made a change in his cart so I could order what I wanted. I'm very happy with him so far.

My best preforming KR batter and I have 3 smoke tip batteries, 2 V4L XL batteries, 2 Vapor King batteries from V4L. The best ones are the Vapor King. The draw if flavorful and smooth where as the smoketips start loosing their uph after about a month and the manual Vapor Xl seems to have a weird effect on my cartos such as juice leaking and harsh hit when I can put the same carto on the VK and it work perfect.

When you say your best battery is a Vapor King, did you get this from VaporKings.com or from V4L?

Thanks! ;)

Darn. I was hoping that you would get a reply on that. I just orded a manual from V4L and hope that it will not be like sucking on air. I got my starter kit from Vapor Kings. I had to order another starter kit from Jason at I forgot where because Vapor Kings will no longer carry the KR808s at all. Hope I did not make yet another mistake!

Yes, same here! Oh well, guess they did not want to share???

VaporKings.com is only going to have the Cartos, I believe. Let us know how it goes on your purchase from V4L.
