Ive been using the smoktech 1.7 resurrects from CCV ever since last summer when Boge LR 2.0's broke my heart (and my wallet) with all the duds. I cant find any standard size 1.7 single coils out there now (anyone have a website that has these? the ones I go are all out of stock or only have the XL sixe). But If people are having luck with Boge again I'm willing to take a chance. I need to put in an order soon for some standard size single coils!

I got a 100 2ohm 2hole single coil in a group purchase around January this year. Really have not had any duds. Couple had some flooding issues. Part of the time I vape unflavored liquid. just pg/vg 70/30 12 - 18 % nicotine. That cart has gone 55 days or so and still works as good as the day I began using it. The others I use with DIY flavored liquid are lasting 5 days to a week. The vendor liquids I use to use were heavy on the flavor percent and was getting 3 days on average.

Sure Vapes has them priced very well.... free shipping on domestic orders $10 or more (USA) only. so two packs of boge 2.0 lr was just under $11 shipped. They are located in New Jersey (by seaside heights ). The quality has been so so with boge ... not sure if it's me or just putting too much juice....type of juice I'm using... but not all that impressed lately.

I grabbed two packs from this vendor recently and maybe others can tell me differently. I have used 5 in the last week and two of them are clogged, three working fine using BWB and HHV juice all tobacco extracts. and using stainless versions if it makes a diff.

Truly, I think it depends on where you get them. I started with them 7 or 8 months ago (maybe missed the big bogegate) and have only had a slight problem during that time when I ordered from a vendor I don't usually get them from. I was buying something else and thought I would save on shipping by picking some up there. Out of three boxes, I think I got two or three with draw problems. Previous to that I had only bought them from one of two places... Mr E Liquids (came in my kits) or Surevapes and never got a bad one in a dozen or so boxes. I think that "off" vendor I got some from either had some left over from bogegate or they just don't care as much about quality as my usual vendors do... not sure. But I got 10 boxes from Surevapes two months ago and they've all been just fine.

Yes, I have found them to have changed in first-fill absorption only which is not a issue for me. I just adjust. I use the condom method but with the mouth side inserted into juice, then put a condom on the thread side and flip it. The last batch I got definitely takes longer to absorb so setup time is longer. Back 7 or 8 months ago I didn't have to do any setup time as the filler soaked the juice up right away. I vape 67/33 and have added a couple of drops of DW which seems to help with the first fill. I don't continue using it for top offs though.

Good to know guys....will condom fill through mouthpiece next fill and see if it makes a difference. I guess you leave the little rubber mouthpiece in to do this...then take it out after and use a drip tip.

No, you take that white mouthpiece out first. And, you plunge into juice slowly. You'll still get a bit of seepage between carto wall and condom but not enough to leak out past it and it comes off the carto when removing the condom. Also, the first vape after initial fill will need a topoff quicker than Boges used to need but after that they're just like they always were. I guess they either use more filler now or they wrapped it tighter. Oh, I fill the short condom just a little past half way. I can't recall now but depending on your drop size, its 15-to-22 drops. There's no loss of juice though. I kind of milk the carto by sliding the long condom I've used on the thread side down some (after taking the mouth side one off) and squeeze it several times to make sure there's no juice in the air tube and if I've over filled, the excess comes down the tube into that condom to be used topping off.

Edit: also, they don't crackle and pop as much as they used to. In fact, JMHO, but I think Boge did this to the filler for that very reason. I've seen youtube slamming Boge cartos for being noisy. They aren't anymore and that might be throwing some people off thinking they clogged or flooded when they don't the same sounds they used to make. I miss the old loud crackle and pop but they vape just the same as always.
