Are Disposables Still Available After the Bans?

    Hi everyone,

With the recent wave of disposable vape bans in several countries — such as the UK’s upcoming restrictions, Australia's tighter import laws, and some European countries enforcing stricter rules — I wanted to ask:

Are disposables still being sold in your area, either in stores or online?

Have most users now switched to refillable pod systems or other alternatives?
Or are there still retailers managing to offer them in some form?

I’m mostly curious how this is affecting availability and user habits, especially in countries where disposables were a big part of the market.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts or experiences. Thanks!

In Brazil, vapes or any ecigarette are illegal, but you can still find them at petrol stations, clubs and tobacco shops in every city, even at public events organised by the local government.
*Illegal to sell, it is legal to have one and use it

You won’t find mods or other refillable devices, apart from the Koko Prime and similar models.

Most disposables are smuggled in from Paraguay; they cost about US$5 to US$10 there and sell here for around US$25, and demand is only increasing.

I can buy flavor concentrates from domestic online sellers who market them as food or drink additives, but I tried to import flavors from NomNomZ, customs held the parcel while they decide whether to release it, seize it or fine me.
I’m still anxious about it, because legally they could open a criminal case against me. When I ordered I thought, “Nah, it’s just flavors,” but that would be unlikely, since I only bought 17 × 10 ml bottles for personal use.
I’m just waiting for them to decide whether it’s “for vaping”, they’ll probably just incinerate it and I won’t face any repercussions.

In the us its state by state, county by county, and township by township. Where I live there is effectively one city with several townships and counties. In one part of town something may be illegal while its legal on another. Businesses pick and choose. The Mall of America falls across such deliberately, so business licensing is different on one side of the building than another. It’s why all the restaurants are clustered together. It’s as close as they can get to an area without entering it.

One thing to pay attention to is not all flavorings can be used. In the US. it is fda baking flavors (because they’re heat resistant) and no oils at all. Some flavors are often oils. It’s common in spices. Mint, cinnamon, cloves, all of these flavors can ONLY be done with oils or are commonly done with oils. (mint oil, clove oil, and cinnamon oil specifically). There are others though. One is somewhat famous. Diacetyl. Breathing vaporized oils is bad for your lungs.
There are some flavors you don’t see any more. Butterfinger, cinnamon red hot, kretek. All of these can’t be done right without oils so they aren’t done anymore. You can still get them for candy flavoring. One has to be careful.
