Them Big Pharm probably don't ask and don't care for it if they even heard it.

I feel like asking them if they'll go on the record that they support it. If they realize it's saving their patients lives they will.

There are big signs all over the Univ of PA hospital that they are having a big quit smoking campaign and giving out 'free patches' (wonder who supplies them and the quit smoking campaign?). I went to visit my Mom armed with a bunch of info I printed from the board. I found the office but no one was there. I might try to follow up and talk to someone there. I'd love to tell them that two of the doctors on staff (one is head of vascular medicine) approve of ecigs.

It was a doctor who first suggested I use an e-cig. He is an ortopedic surgeon who foresees a knee replacement surgery in my future and felt I would do much better if I quit smoking now. I am very grateful to him.

When I told my GP that I had switched to e-cigs, she started spouting off about the FDA's disapproval and how I shouldn't do it. I cut her off and gave my opinion about how the FDA is only interested on power, control and money. It was my first time seeing this doctor, and my last, for this reason and a few others. She is an AMA and FDA puppet on all issues.

I think I'll tell future doctors that I'm an ex-smoker and leave it at that until I know thrm better.

My dentist approves, he feels smoking is very bad for the gums, and anyting that helps you quit is a good thing.

You can bet your paycheck this week that Big Pharma has most definitely heard of PV's, and I'll bet my paycheck that it was Big Pharma who was behind the FDA's push to get PV's classified as medical devices and thus put their manufacture and sale under the control of, umm, you know, those guys who manufacture nicotine gum and inhalers and patches. Who are they again? Think, think. Oh, that's right. Big Pharma.
