Are the E2's a must for MAP replacements?

I am going to have a MAP tank on the way soon once I can locate one from someone in the BST forum. Hopefully I find one soon so I can retire my oversized syringe mods. I have a few CE2 XL's for syringe mods left.
I was about to order some CE2 clearomizers for the MAP and just wiggle the plastic tube off for use in the MAP. But after reading COV description it says that it takes E2 XL's.
So, my long-winded question is will the clear/clearomizer CE2 XL's work? Or only the E2's? It looks like the pictures of the replacements on COV have a bit of material remaining above the threaded bottom end like some was left on after cutting with a pipe cutter or similar tool.

Can I just use the CE2's or are the E2's a must?

BTW, anyone got a MAP to sell? My ProVari want's one really bad
