Are the new 801 fusions tighter?

I am on my 2nd of 15 new 801 fusions.
Both of them have had an incredibly tight draw. MUCH tighter than my old ones.
It was so bad that I threw the first out after the first fill. These things are killing me.
Anyone else noticed this. I am using them on my Buzz. Same mod I've used all along. it has on been used with fusions (OK I used 1 V2 with an adapter).

Has anyone else noticed this?

I tried adjusting the center pin to no avail.
I am really frustrated as I love the things usually.

Did I just get 2 bad ones in a row, or did the whole batch change?

Cap Im using two side by side at the moment. One with BWB RY4 and The other with BWB Adirondack. One from the most recent batch. (notice they are darker metal?) and one from the old batch. Both are drawing the same to me. Soo in short possibly bad luck or possibly the batch was from multiple runs at the factory and only some are affected.

Make sure the vent hole in the side is open Doc. I use mine with an adapter so I don't experience that.

I'm still on the first I ordered from when the new site opened... Best cartos by far. I will buy ALL of his stock when they're back.. Joking... But def more than 10

I bought some from when the store opened also...draw is fine but I don't have any others to compare anything by.

Although I have some of the newer ones I'm still using one from several I purchased first run. Actually the draw on the old one is a bit too airy for my preference. I've used others from first batch that were less airy. Sorry I can't help. Just wanted to say that I usually purchase in multiples and there are variations. You could possibly drill out the holes a bit to see if that helps.

I have a bunch from both batches and all I can say is they are my favorite carto made. And I have been through the carto mill.
