No.
No chemicals have been 'proven' to be harmful in relation to vaping.
Also you need to make a distinction between ingredients and potential by-products of heating liquid. How a person vapes can make a difference in the breakdown and potential release of nasty things. There is a HUGE thread on this in General Vaping.
Given a choice between vaping and smoking - i know which i choose...

Thanks for your reply.
It's my understanding that ingredients like diacectyl are always harmful no matter how you vape?
I'd be interested in reading that thread you mentioned, i had a look for it and couldn't find a thread along those lines - could you post me a link? Thankyou.

There's still debate on diacetyl. The popcorn lung cases were inhaling high amounts of raw diacetyl not the highly diluted stuff we come into contact with and some of those were moderate smokers as well. Also, there is anywhere from 100-1000 (depending on who you believe) times more diacetyl in cig smoke and it has never been linked to lung issues in smokers. Vaping processes diacetyl similarly.

That being said, a lot of juices no longer use diacetyl and flavoring makers have done a lot to eliminate it as well. The rest like formaldehyde has only been found when you get dry hits.

TLDR:Don't sweat the small stuff, it's still magnitudes safer than smoking
