Are Triton & V2 compatible?

Just ordered a Triton starter kit and was planning on ordering the G6 as well, but now I'm considering going with the V2 IF I can interchange the components. I know that you can use the Triton batteries with the G6 carts, minitanks, etc. Will I be able to do this if I go with the V2?
