Are Unpainted Atomizers Better????

I am going to order some Joye 510 atomizers and I was thinking about getting the 'steel' or 'titanium' finish to avoid any problems with alcohol removing the paint during cleaning.

My question is... will the unfinished metal RUST or PIT??? or is it a stainless steel??? I haven't cleaned my attys yet, but I have heard of problems with the paint failing on some attys, and I am trying to plan ahead.

The atty is completely covered with my Riva, so the color isn't an issue. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the steel or ti ones i have acually have a clear coat over them and they actually start peeling alot sooner then the black painted ones, but i havent had any issues with rust

The SS I have had were once TI. The TI is just paint, and my TI eGo un-painted itself from leaking cartos. Now it is SS. All the attys/batts I have seen are painted SS. IT won't rust. Below is my eGo mega and Maga atty that were once TI and black. I scraped the paint off once it started on it's own, now it looks great.

Thanks guys!! I was thinking the 'steel' or 'titanium' might be raw metal, so nothing to peel, but since they are either painted or clearcoated, I'll just stay with the black. I appreciate the info.
