On a rock floating through space
Yup. I enjoyed smoking, had myself a collection of Zippos for my cancer sticks and a collection of briar pipe for my relaxing end-of-day smoke. I smoked my way across the cigarette display at my old tobacco shop, buying a different pack every time.

Now, I enjoy vaping so much more. I have dozens of flavors to choose from. Wrapping coils is zen time for me. And when I wake up: "hmmmm, will it be the nemesis and the kraken, the buzz pro and the vivi nova, the kylin and steam turbine, or the evod on a roughstack.... I know, how about the nimbus on the kylin. And now, every vape is as good as my relaxing end-of-day vape.
I see myself sticking with this for the foreseeable future.

I'm a vapor for life. I smoked for over 20 years a pack and a half a day. I enjoyed smoking and never wanted to give it up, until I tried vaping. To me, its much better--more flavor choices, healthier, and much more fun buying equipment and making my own juice. I love vaping and Even if it becomes illegal, gasp , I still will Vape at home. :vapor:

Btw: I've stockpiled enough nicotine to survive a decade. :vapor:

Hanging out in CA for now
Wow, I just realized I've been vaping for almost 4 years just like Caff. When I initially started vaping I figured I'd use it as a vehicle to quit smoking. I enjoyed smoking, just not the stink and coughing that went along with it. I have cut down on my nic levels a lot since I started. My goal is to get to 0 nic levels but quit vaping, nah, don't think so. Especially since after nearly 4 years of being an eGo gal, I finally sprang for a mod.

I will say there are times I leave the house and forget my vape stick at home. I don't have a panic attack and have to pull in to the nearest 7-11 and buy two packs of stinkys. :p I can go all day without my eGo and it's just that much more enjoyable when I get home. I could never have done that back when I was addicted to cigarettes.

I'm too much of a revolutionary to obey the powers that be when it comes to vaping (and I am one of the most law-abiding people one could hope to meet). There is too much intrusion in our personal lives as it is. Never being much of a conspiracy buff, I've come to the conclusion that the government wants people to continue to smoke tobacco. If they every lost the revenue from those $5-9 a pack cigarettes, they'd go crazy. As for places like Los Angeles that wish to ban e-gigs? The city governments have always been, and continue to be insane and ideologically driven. There is really little difference between right and left politics any longer as there are both people on the left and right vaping...the government despises both sides and will take whenever they see an opportunity.

It's one reason I like Freedom Smoke - FREEDOM. Protect it, seize it or lose it.:2c:

Vaping offers the enjoyment of the "addiction" minus the dire consequences of analog cigarettes. I work hard and cherish my "enjoyment". Life, Liberty, the persuit of Happiness. I love that document. I wish our government did.:vapor:

Probably not.

Back when I started, I saw vaping as a way to get off cigarettes and save money. And e-cigs served both of those purposes to perfection. But now, as I'm approaching my fourth-year-vaping anniversary, I'm beginning to feel like it's time to start thinking about an overall exit strategy.

This. I'm only a couple of months into it but I know I'm off cigarettes.

This will probably blow the minds of any ANTZ who may be lurking but I don't feel addicted to vaping. I know that I have some kind of dependence on nicotine and I've reduced from 18mg to about 10 most of the time but I don't feel panic stricken at the idea of being someplace where I can't vape. Nic gum would work for me.

The nice thing I do know is that if I ever at some point do give up vaping... the relapse wouldn't be a big deal :D
