Are You Reo Grand Owners Using 1600 or 200mAh Batteries?

I've been using the AW IMR 18650 1600mAh batteries and never noticed these:

AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh

Does anyone here or everyone here but me use these?

I have some of each.....and I really haven't noticed much difference. I usually don't even know which I have in the REO...I just grab and run. But then I usually change out the batteries before they run down, so maybe that's why I don't notice any extended time on the 2000 mAh batts over the 1600 mAh.

I probably wouldn't notice it either come to think of it. I already get a full day's work out of the 1600mAh and have a routine like yours where I never let a battery go completely dead so it may not be worth the extra money and or time to charge them. In fact it might throw me "out of whack" somehow

I saw a discharge graph on these and if I recall correctly the extra mah shows up after the voltage drops below 3.7 volts so for most of us who swap batteries when the voltage hits that level there is no benefit to the higher mah. Might help if you use a kick.

David at Super T Manufacturing did load test compairisons of these two batteries and found the extra mAh in the 2000mAh AW's is only apparent below 3.5 volt discharged (if I remember correctly). For Reo Grands, either battery will work just as well, as my homies have already chimed in.

He also tested the 2600 IMR's saying that those had the longest usable run times (compared to the IMR 2800's)... but i cant seem to find the thread.

I believe you mean to say ICR's.

Weren't the 2600's to long in the Reo- collapsed the spring to much??
