I have 5 Ego-T Type B Atomizers with large 2 ml tank setup - including one passthrough, and I haven't had a problem at all. In fact, I think they're great - a top contender for medium priced PVs. Evidently, many others feel the same way. I find it ironic that Provapes offers an adapter to use the Ego-T tank system on their new Provari. See the bottom of the page:

I don't know which Ego setup you had problems with or whether it was a clone, but many find the Ego-T Type B atomizer and large tank to be a winner. Many problems with the Ego-T are user caused. To solve any confusion about what I'm talking about, see:

I think in the beginning there may have been some necessary tweaking to the original design. Now I use them ALOT and for the most part don't have to adjust any wicks, etc:) To me it was a great idea cause I was SICK of trying to find a good cart filler and knew I was losing a lot of liquid in the filler. My nickel:2cool: I use the attys/tanks on my box mods and my Buzz's with good results.

I've been looking at mods and thinking about getting one, but it's all pretty confusing. So far, I've looked at the Roughstack, Buzz, Provari, and GLV. I'm going to wait and do my homework because I am pretty happy with what I already have.

I gave up on the Ego-T. I have three of them. I think one atty still lives. Pretty sure the other two attys are goners. I still have tanks left. I do use the batteries but I use them with cartos. The batteries are like the Eveready bunny...they just keep going. I also love the shut off feature on them. For a short while, perhaps two weeks, I thought I found "the" e-cig with the Ego-T. Bottom line: Very disappointed.

I just don't want to smoke analogs. And I want to do it as painlessly as possible. Carts are annoying. The Ego-T's were a waste for me. Carto's seem to be the happy medium unless/until I decide to bite the bullet for a mod.

The 510 to ego adapter is available at a lot of different places.

I'll help you with your homework just a little bit. Obviously, looking at my avatar pic, you can see I am a real fan of the rough stack. Though I've figured out how to do it, it is not a simple thing to use eGo tanks or eGo mega attys on the rough stack. Even when you figure out how to do it, it's still really difficult to do anything about having completely unrestricted airflow... It changes the behavior of the tanks and megas a lot. The 510 to ego adapter does not work because the switch is too close to the 510 connector.

The buzz, provari, and the glv all require the 510 to ego adapter. The only mod on the market that I am aware of that does eGo tank and eGo mega attys natively is the newest design of the megalodon.

I hope that helps a little.

Hello Six,

First, thanks for the information. I'm not necessarily looking for a mod that uses Ego-T Tanks. I really don't even have a ballpark yet about what I want. I also looked pretty hard at the Maxi-Roughstack Vs simply because you could change voltage with various battery configurations. I would probably start with a 3.7 configuration, but I might want to try higher voltage one day and like the idea of simply changing batteries instead of buying another mod. The reason I mentioned the excellent Ego-T Type B large tank system is because of so many complaints on earlier versions and configurations. Many complaining have never tried the Ego-T Type B large tank and think that all Ego-Ts have the same problems as first generation stuff. I appreciate your suggestion, and I'll check it out.
