Probably because I haven't won any contests. Let's put my hypothesis to the test. See what I did there?
Well - VERY Long Story Short - It has been narrowed down to 2 things, the first being the MAOI's that are missing from most "E-Liquids" (Although I have been using some WTA/NET to compensate, but they are very expensive) and the most important one being that I have yet to find that elusive "True Menthol Tobacco" flavor (similar to a Kool cigarette) that I am desperate to find to become an ADV. Matter of fact, if it wasn't for the few flavors I have found that I can vape and the encouragement/support I have gotten from so many people here on ECF and Vendors/Suppliers, I wouldn't even be trying any more.
BTW: There are a number of us that still smoke cigarettes here on ECF that have/had problems making the "Transition into the World of Vaping" (some still do - as I have). For "Us" it is NOT AS EASY as it has been for many people. Thankfully, We have a support thread that was started after a contest (like this one) when I admitted to the fact that "http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/405553-yes-i-still-smoke-cigarettes-i-am-addicted-smoking-habit" (< original thread) and prodded "Lox" to start one. What is really amazing - is in this thread, "We" provide each other "a Safe Area to Support, Encourage, and Provide Helpful Information to all of "Us" Who "Still Smoke Cigarettes" and are "Addicted to the Smoking Habit" . . . "We" especially share a lot of ideas to help each other out on a number of subjects - it is "non judgmental place to vent, rant, or just feel at home." And whether or not the person is still - vaping/smoking, or cutting back the amount of cigarettes they smoke, or only having 1 to 2 cigarettes a day, or even a PAD - NO ONE is judging "Them" . . . "We" Only Count The Ones "We Haven't Smoked and "EMBRACE THE SUCK"

ive been your friend a long time on here and always will be
i know that almost all the vendors you have talked to about
the True Menthol (kool cig like) that u r looking for has at least tried or offered to try and make you one.
and as i see it no one has been able too yet.
maybe if (we) quit trying to find a vape that vapes like a smoke we might be able to give them up.

its kinda like a vice if you know what i mean. as long as i havent found it i dont have to give it up yet.

No Problem - I appreciate your candor . . . AND - I agree with "You", in the beginning I had no intention at all to quit smoking, all I wanted to do was be able to cut-back on how much I was smoking (2 1/2 - 3 PAD) and take back control of "My" Addiction to Cigarettes and the Smoking Habit. As I said in "My" original post that I provided a link to . . . It was after reading some of the peoples testimonies (especially those like myself who smoked over 45+ years and where having difficulties) and their success in quitting smoking cigarettes that changed "My" mind about the possibilities. (BTW: For those who have read some of "My" other post about this situation already know - I really dislike the taste of Tobacco - it is the Menthol I am looking for).
I AM DETERMINED - That Eventually, I WILL QUIT ! ! !
Also there may not be a "True Menthol Tobacco" to become an ADV for "Me" - especially since I could care less if it "vapes like a smoke." However that will not stop my search for that one "E-Liquid" that is a "True Menthol Tobacco" without "Me" having to add all the additives to like "Menthol Crystal Liquid"/"Kolada" to even get somewhat close. AND - The bigger problem lies with the fact that almost everything out there is food related or has sugar/sugar substitutes added to the "E-Liquid" which you know is a big no no for "Me" (since I am a diabetic). AND - The vendors that have tried to help, I cannot tell ya how appreciative I am of their assistance - but mints and other candy like flavors do not make what I (and/or others who are on the same search as I am) call a true "Menthol." Thankfully, I am still working with a couple of vendors on this project and I think "We" might get there, especially as a base to start with for those of "Us" that also NEED WTA/NET added to an "E-Liquid" to satisfy the need for a MAOI.
