Argh, Dang You Chinese Holiday!

I recently placed an order with Heavens-Gifts.com for my first e-cig, mainly due to their prices on everything, and how good everyone said their service was. Lo and behold, apparently it's a national holiday in China which means nothing can be sent out until the 8th. I figure, oh well, they are giving a huge discount on shipping, I can wait. That's only a couple days away, then it'll only take 6-10 days to ship from that point, I'll be vaping sometime between the 14th and 18th of this month!

God, it's only two days after I ordered and it's already driving me crazy. Apparently I underestimated my impatience.

This post is here for three reasons, 1. To generally complain, 2. To let all other noobs know about this (Orders don't ship tell the 8th, but right now you can get cheap product from china without the huge price tag on shipping), and 3. To see if anyone else has done the same thing.

i feel you...been waiting for my e-cigs. fortunately, i have an M403 already, so i'm not deprived of my vaping. love the e cigs. eastmall, heavengifts, and healthcabin are AWESOME. BTW truemanecigs is CHEAP...will try them out and see how their service is...

I ordered my 510s from them. Luckily they shipped it just before the holiday started. Should receive tomorrow.

Heavan's Gifts has very fast shipping. I get most of my stuff in 5 days. I would recommend them to anyone. The trick is to have plenty of stuff on hand, then the wait doesn't seem as long. I know this doesn't ease your pain, but I just placed an order today as well. We need to have as many holidays as China has!

It would be nice, yet I think the deserve those holidays. They do after all live in China.

Anyhow, patience is something I have to get use to, I know what's going to happen. I'll be anxious and annoyed, thinking that I made a bad decision and should have just paid more from a US or European dealer so I could get it quicker. Then I'll forget about it, and right as that happens, it'll arrive.

Yeah I have 300ml of juice coming in after the holiday, but Eastmall had a great sale on it when the holiday started, so will be worth the wait.

I knew the holiday was comin, so I ordered the day before they left on vacation. Didnt realize maybe EMS takes this vacation as well cuz my package has been dispatched from sorting center for 5 days now. USPS status is still in foreign acceptance. Good thing I order so much from them that Ill never risk running out in awhile. Still drives me crazy though, seems like Im checking every hour for "Outbound out of customs", even on sunday.

lol, yeah, at least you got stock. I got to sit through all this waiting on my first damn e-cig! I got my friends 510 I get to try at work, which tends to just get me more excited and impatient. Since it's not mine, and I still have to smoke analogs.

I ran into this problem with Cignot he gets his items direct from China as well and ran out of stock on the $35 no box kit as well as his PCC included kits which I was a day late to order for some coworkers of mine. I have talked them into trying them since I was a 2 1/2 pack a day for 14 years and stopped for the first time the day my 510 arrived.

I wish holidays here in the US would last a week. Ours only last a day each.

I can't believe how many post I've read with the same situation I'm in. Seems like tons of us are anxiously awaiting our 510 shipments that are held up by this holiday. I got a very cheap "Health E-Cigarette" from Dino Direct. It took several weeks to get here. It's not bad really and comes with this case that also charges (looks like a cigarette pack plugged into the wall), and I've tried to switch off of analog but I found that some of my cravings were just too strong. I have no idea what's in the carts that came with this unit, first one tasted exactly like Thin Mint girl scout cookies. No idea on strength. So I've decided to wait for my 510 and juices I've ordered (orders from 3 different sites now) so that I'll be totally ready to try and kick this analog habit soon.
I've never been a patient person. I wish there was somewhere a person could go and just BUY the stuff... and now I get way-laid in my newfound obsession as everyone talks about possible bans. This scares me because I have orders in process.
I used to buy a mild prescription out of Australia without a script - only ever had one package stopped by customs, and oddly after it was opened they did eventually ship it to me. I assume it would be the same if a ban is enforced. Scares me that PayPal will kick you off for noting that your shipment is for e-liquid. I'd worked hard for years to establish my good standing there. Well, poop! Feel like I just got on an awesome cruise ship with tons of potential new friends, only to find we've sprung a leak!
I'm addicted to reading these posts... excited to be here.

You guys need to know that its the norm that before/ after any major holidays in China, there will be a huge backlog and more red tape involved. Nothing to worry about customs though as ecigs are not banned in China.
