Argus XT Persistent Memory

Hi,

I am experiencing a severe issue with the non-volatile memory storage on my Argus XT device. This problem affects both the Puff Counter and the TC (Temperature Control) Mode settings.

1. Puff Counter Issue:

When I reset the puff counter, it successfully returns to "00000". However, after I power cycle the device (turn it off and on again), the reset value is not permanently saved. The counter always reverts to the same old fixed value (4838).

2. TC Mode and Custom Settings Issue:

The same issue occurs when saving custom settings (wattage and temperature) in the device's TC (Temperature Control) Mode. Even though I create and save a custom temperature and wattage profile, these settings disappear after a power cycle and revert to the previous default settings.

This suggests that the problem lies within the device's firmware or memory management.

My Device Details:

  • Model: VOOPOO Argus XT (Single Battery Version)
  • Firmware Level Code: 3001F20F
  • Chip ID: 4D343338 B619710D
  • Steps Taken: I have repeatedly attempted the reset and save procedures for both issues, but the problem persists.
My Request:

Do you have the stock firmware available for this specific Argus XT model? Could you please provide the latest official firmware file and instructions to help me resolve this memory bug?

ECF isn't that kind of site. You would be better served by contacting the manufacturer directly for that kind of information. However, one of the members here may know of a download link to obtain the firmware for the device.

Edited to add: It wasn't that hard to find. A quick Google search found the link: https://www.voopoo.com/software.html

Yes. There is. All you needed to do is find your model on the page I linked. Provides a popup with a direct link for the download.

Here's the direct link: https://sen.voopoo.com.cn/www-voopoo/static/dist/uploads/20210415/voopoo.exe

This is a Windows configuration program that allows you to download the firmware for your device.

OK, I downloaded and installed this. I don't have the zwdf file. What I'm looking for is actually the zwdf file, but it's nowhere to be found :(
