im not sure why but im getting dry hits on my aromamizer & sometimes if i dont get dry hits. i get a slight burned taste whenever i take hits. is this normal? does anyone else experience this? whats the fix?

setup: dual vertical build - 24g kanthal/3.mm bit/.33ohms vaping @ 40w e-juice range from 80/20 to 70/30 (vg/pg)

There's an "official" Aromamizer RDTA thread in the Rebuildable Atomizer Systems section of the forum. It has vast amounts of knowledge kept within it's many pages. Other members, as well as myself, try to help anyone having issues there. Can you post a picture of your build?

I'll just go ahead and try to diagnose it without a pic. It's prolly one of two things. Either not enough cotton inside the coil(the cotton needs to be VERY SNUG), or it's too much/little cotton in the juice well. Pictures would help a lot.

also, if you have gotten a lot of dry hits you might have burned the cotton and that is causing the continuous burned taste. Definately post your build, and come over to the official thread in the rebuildable RTA section!

Sounds like either the cotton is too tight in the coil, the wattage is too high, or you are chain vaping and the wicking can't keep up with you
