My brain is scrambled!

I can only have two Reo's. Tops. There is no way I can justify more than that to the hubs. I have my VVG, which I've had for about 12 days or so, and I'm liking it but at the same time I want an LP mini *and* I want a Woodvil. I cannot have all three. *insert big crocodile tears* I'm having a hard time getting over the cute factor with the mini's but I keep telling myself that for any future sub-ohm adventures I'll be better off ordering a grand. But damn those mini's are just so....mini! I wish there wasn't an issue between the mini's and grands as far as sub-ohming goes.

Then there is the larger juice capacity and larger battery option with the grand. OK, so I think I just talked my way through that. The LP Grand makes more sense right? I just need to get over the mini tugging at the cute center in my brain and do what's more sensible. Right? LOL! Cause I can only have one or the other, not both, and a woodvil later on, after selling the VVG.

My cart over at Reomods currently has $244 worth of goodies in it. Soooo, I'm going to have to sell my provari stealth to help cover this. If it sells. I've been watching the classifieds and the provari's aren't selling as well as usual and I think it's because of all the V3 rumors going around. Who's going to want to buy a 2.5 when the V3's will be out in like two months? My only saving grace is that it's a stealth. I haven't found a listing for one in the classifieds after searching a few times so I don't think they go up for sale, like ever, here on ECF.

So if I can get this stealth sold and go ahead with my purchase with Rob do you all agree that a grand would be a smarter choice for someone who can only have a grand or mini and not both?

Hmmmm... I'd have to give the nod to the LP Grand.

I've got a mini and, well, it just doesn't get the usage that the Grands do. I'm paranoid about battery safety and I'm loving the .4 Ohm duals lately. I'm also going through more than 3 ml of juice in a day - not a deal breaker, but nice to have enough juice onboard to last me.

Your stealth should sell fine - it's a unique device.

I have to disagree. Efest purple 18500 1000mah batteries have a 15amp limit. Running a .4 coil and a full 4.2v battery only puts out 10.5amps. Plenty safe. A year or so ago there was nothing below 18650 for sub-ohming, but now. Hell even 18350 batteries can have a 10.5 amp limit. So while running a 350 at .4 ohms would still be pretty dangerous, you can do it with a 18500. Drains the battery life pretty fast, but you could still run that .4ohm dual coil on a LP mini if you so desired.

Y'all are helping the logical savy side of my brain stand up and say "Told ya!", while the feminine kitten loving soft for cute things side of me wilts with sadness.

Ok, I think it does make more sense to go with a grand since I do have to choose one over the other. As for wearing hubs down...I'll have to time it just right and catch him in the perfect mood...but the next time he wants something I'll have to do some wheeling and dealing and hope for success. Or go to my last ditch plan and sell my provari mini. I wanted to hold on to her for sentimental reasons. And that would be my soft kitty fluffy bunny side talking. :)

For me, 'cute factor' doesn't cut it with vape gear. I know, I'm pretty boring ! The way I look at it this is a tool we use for vaping and for me that means I want the best tool for the job I want it to do.

I bought a Grand and it's perfect for me. From what you said, my feeling is the Grand will be better for you too.

But that's just my opinion. Whichever way you decide to go, best of luck with it :thumb:

I'm in the minority here, but I like my mini better than my grand. The mini fits better in my hand (& pocket), I only ever want 3 mls of the same juice at a time, and I've gotten used to when to change out the batteries on the mini... because I use it almost exclusively. I'm keeping the grand around for now- have a reactor on the way and will maybe try some lower ohm coil builds to see if I like it. And if I ever were to find a bigger atty that I like (seems doubtful, though, because the small chamber is where its at!) I think it would look better on a grand. So for me, the mini is better, and the grand is for my back-up/future experiments with other atties &coil builds. It may go up for trade at some point if I don't find what I'm looking for.
And TBH I'm not having any issues with a .5ohm dual coil on a mini. So if that's what you mean by sub-ohm, you'll be fine with a mini or a grand.

yeshe, thanks for chiming in. It is a hard decision to make because I do like the idea of a mini because I'm female and have smaller hands and I don't have to have 6ml's of juice. But if I ever get up the nerve to go sub ohm I feel the grand would be the smarter choice. Maybe just maybe I can get my hands on a mini woodvil later on. That would be oh so freakin' wonderful!

Not boring, probably just simply smart. I unfortunately have a side to me that whines to have it's way even when it's not the best way. Call it multiple reo-personality disorder! :w00t:

I think you're right though and thank you for sending me luck!

I'm with you on the mini woodville- a dream of mine as well. How low you lookin to go? If you want to build below .5, seems like the grand is a better choice for that. But the mini does great above .5, right? I'm no expert, but I think even .4 would be safe.
Seems like a grand and a mini would be a good start. By the time the woodvilles are actually available, couldn't you just hide one of the others from the hubby?

I have a few reos...two or more of each possible size. For the last month I have been running a mini 2.1 at .8 or .9 ohms. Mini does make me rotate batteries a bit extra, but I don't mind with a charger at work, home, and in the car.

I like variety...but I also pick one and use it steady for a while. Probably going back to a woody for a bit while I order an LP grand and one of the new toppers.

The beauty in my avatar is a mini woody...it's probably the one I will use next.

I'd have to somehow make hubs forget what I do and do not have. Maybe that's the key to solving my problem. Confuse him! If I had a grand and mini both with the same color scheme he'd never notice, honest to god I know he wouldn't notice! Then I'd have a grand, a mini and my woodlovely. :sneaky:

Very nice thinking. Is that a quilted maple?

OMG, MRPD ... that's why I want another Reo so badly! Now I can explain it to my wife and she will understand

MRPD involves massive confusion when one personality attempts to defy another personality and total inner chaos ensues. The sufferer will exhibit symptoms such as wringing of hands, nystagmus (eyes darting back and forth between minis and grands), temporary deafness to those trying to reason with them and mumbling to oneself about colors and textures. The only way to calm the patient will be to administer several rounds of reo-therapy at max dose for several days. Approach with caution when the patient is experiencing an episode.

Yeeesssssss, that's it penny :toast:! For me it's been LP vs another regular Reo. No-one understands the pain, the anguish, the utter desolation this kind of stress and confusion inflicts on us.

Well, not to make light of your situation, but it's good to know it's not just me. Hang in there kiddo, time is a great healer and once you get your next Reo, that will also help.

For a while.

OK, so forget I said that last bit ...
