Mechanical Woodvils might be done by Christmas. So a Woodvil could be seen as a present!

With that in mind the Grand and the 18650 batteries would have you all set for a Woodvil. The Mini 2.1 batteries would only work in a Woodvil 18490 or Mini Woodvil. And I don't know if those will be made soon.

The LP or regular Grand is the work horse of the REO family. Used more than any other REO. It is about the same around as the Mini 2.1 and just a little taller. You get the bigger bottle and the longer lasting battery too.

Your second is your back-up REO. If you need to send in your VV Grand then it is what you will be using. Keep that in mind also.

I say LP or regular Grand.

There are many here with much more Reo experience than me, and good advice too. But I go against the grain, I like the Mini better as an all day vape. To me, its more comfortable in hand, and easier to pocket, and so, for me, it is the superior tool for all day vaping. Sure it needs a battery change before a Grand does, and only holds 3ml, but there are bottles available to make that 6ml.

It would be interesting to know the percentage of Mini's sold vs percentage of Grands sold, I would guess maybe 15% Mini's?

I say follow your heart. Keep in mind that the people here have guided you with honesty and for what they think is best for you, it is pretty obvious that most people prefer a Grand, but you may not be "most people".

P.S. I like that "get both in the same color - hubby won't notice" idea you came up with. That would be ideal!

Around Christmas, birthday or anniversary time you could always leave little notes or hints around the house for the hubby to see. If he truly loves you and wants you to be happy, he'll do the right thing and get you that third Reo. If that doesn't work, puts some sheets, blanket and a pillow on the couch. He's a smart guy, he'll figure it out.

Can't wait to see pictures of your third Reo! :D

Thank you Nerak, Ian and Alamadean. I think I've got my mind settled. A TRA LP Grand. I just need to get this stealth listed over in the classies and see what happens with it first. Then I can go to checkout!

As far as working on Hubs goes, he's just going to have to face the fact that vaping is my hobby, like fishing is his, and it makes me very happy. I could get persnickety with him and tell him for every five fishing poles he has I get one reo. I'd have about 5 reos! I'll just have to add that idea to my bag of weaponry.

Ok off to take pics of my stealth and get her posted! (Hopefully it's not to complicated, I've never posted anything for sale in the classies)

You and hubs need to sit down and set a vape budget for you. Every month you get what you need/want without question. If something you would need/want costs more than your allotted budget, just save up a few months to get it. Problem solved.

Our monthly vape budget is kinda high, but nothing compared to what we were spending on cigarettes.

Don't discount this as an argument. Where I live and at the rate I used to smoke, a grand (and atty) would be paid for in < 3 weeks of tobacco consumption.

That's 17 grands per year or 14 plus juice, kanthal, and cotton (even the fancy Japanese kind). Not that I've done the math, tho :)

Hi NC- yeah I was spending right about $200/month on Marlboro's. We have saved since I quit, but I'm still going through my vape growing pains trying to find what I like best and that can look very expensive from the outside looking in. But when it's all tallied up against the constant cost of cigs there really is no comparison. I've spent probably $500 on Provari's and eBaron's over the past year and maybe $20 a month when I see a juice I want to try. Other wise I make my own juice.

Soooo... $500 + $240 ($20/month) = $740 versus $2400 in Marlboro's. That means you are $1660 cheaper so far than a year of smoking. That would net you around 7 or 8 grands. The good news is that you only want a couple, so ~$500 (ballpark), or ~30% of that savings.

My god, how could he have issue with this - less than a third of the net money already saved (after accounting for the provari's and other stuff)? :)

I think because with cigs it was an addiction and as a fellow smoker he understood the addiction thing, but with vaping I think he sees these things as more like toys, ie. not necessary. He quit cold turkey about two months before I switched to vaping so if he can so should I. He hasn't come out and said that but I know him and the way he thinks. I sometimes wonder though if he wishes he had run into vaping before he quit tobacco, sometimes the look on his face seems so curious.

When the wife and I quit just over 3yrs ago we were spending $600.00 monthly on cigarettes($450 me...$150 her). The first year of vaping we more or less didn't set a budget because we knew there were going to be growing pains with equipment and e-liquid. Now we have a budget of approximately $300 to $350. There are more and more months now that we don't even spend on vaping supplies. We then use the monies to get something for the house or take a mini vacation(says the man that's getting ready to order 2 more Reos...lol).

In all reality though she wouldn't fuss one bit if I continued to spend what we were spending smoking. She continues to tell me that if it keeps me from smoking...get it.

Penny, just food for thought, but I had been quit 3 yrs when I "took up" vaping, the wife was quit over 7 yrs. Frankly, we both missed the "ritual" of smoking, it had been part of us for so long (50 yrs for me). We started out with cigalikes at 0mg nic, and happily vaped that for months. We both played around occasionally with 12mg nic (cartos lol), but after a few months, we sat down and talked about it. There was something about the nicotene we both enjoyed, an almost imperceptible "boost" that we both really liked. So we started using nic juice, and 4 yrs later, we are both happily vaping away.

No health issues, no stink, no ashtrays to empty, no monthly runs to Costco to stock up on hundreds of dollars worth of cigarettes. And you know what? We're both very content with vaping. And our doctor just shakes his head and smiles at us. As far as he can tell, our health hasn't changed one bit since we started vaping, and I know for a fact we're both MUCH happier than when we were "quit"

I'm not saying this would even be something hubby would consider, but it's something to think about, at least the zero nic part.

Thank you ancient. My hubs has quit several times over the 20 years we've been married and I think with me not having cigs around anymore ( I never quit during all that time) he stands a chance at staying quit. This is the best he's ever done. I don't know that he'd want to try vaping but if he begins to show the slightest interest I'll be all over him.
