I received this device with beautilful blood diamond panels, and i really like the way it looks. In my opinion i like the most this panel style and azure resin. You can change panels, you can buy different panels and change them whenever you want, and i really like that user can change the way his device looks. Under panels you can see magnets that hold panels in the place, There are four magnets each side, and magnets holds panels really good in place.
On the one side (panel) there is artery branding, and on the same panel you can see the fire button. From the insade of the panel there is engraved "PAL". On the bottom of the device you can see vent holes and text "all copyrights reserved by artery". There is also a notch at the bottom of each panel, that notch helps when you want to take panels off. On this device also you can see usb charging port and led light above usb charging port.
It is really easy and simple to use this device, five clicks on fire button to turn it on and five clicks on fire button to turn it off, actually nothing is complicated here and you can't make any adjustments here and all of this making this device really good choice for beginners.
Above the usb charging port there is led light, which flaashes three times in blue color when you turn on the device and it flashes three times in red color when you turn off the device.
This led light is battery indicator as well. When you press the fire button to vape it will light in blue color when battery is charged more then 50%, if the battery capacity is between 15% and 50% it will glow in purple color, and if the battery capacity is below 15% it will glow in red color.
Battery capacity is 1200mah, which is really good, and beginer could use this device at least two days until it need to be charged again.
This device works like mechanical mod, when the battery is fully charged output power will be 4.2v and output power will decrease with decreasing capacity of the battery and device will shut down at 3.2v.
Max current for charging this battery is 800mah, and it will be fully charged really fast, you can use the device while it is on the charger. When PAL is on the charger, led light will glow from red light to blue light and when device is fully charged light will stop glowing, when light is off you can unplug your device.
I need to say that Artery pal is very compact device, I love how small it is and it is not heavy at all, it fits in the hand just perfect and definitely this device is pocket friendly, you can carry it with yourself wherever you go.
On the top of the device there is drip tip, 510 drip tip, and there is two o rings on it. Drip tip stands very good in the place. I tried few different drip tips and they sits flush on the top of the device, which is another plus.
Fire button is on the top left corner on the device, and fire button is clicky, i never experienced missfire with this fire button, it works just great and I like how it feels when I press it. At first I thought it will be hard for me to click on the fire button because of its position, cuz im used to side buttons, but after one day of using this device, I really fast got used to it and now I think the button is perfectly placed.
Under the second panel there is tank, coil and the chimney, from the other side of the panel you can see, let's say a tunnel and air goes through this tunnel and then to the coil. From time to time you need to clean this air tunnel from condensation, but i really like that they made panels to be removable, so you will be able to clean the device very good. There is no any chance that condensation can come insade of the device, the device is protected very well.
When you need to change the coil or clean and wash the tank, you will need to remove drip tip first, then you need to unscrew the top piece under the drip tip with coin that you received in the package. When this piece is out, then you need to push up the coil and it will move the chimney up, then you just remove the coil from the chimney. There is one o ring on the chimney that holds coil very good. You can't change the coil when you have e juice left in the tank.
Holes for e liquid on the coil are placed very low, so coil will pick up the last drop of e liquid left in the tank without problem.
In the package, there are two coils, one is pre installed and that coil is 0.7ohm rated from 15-25 watts, and other one is ceramic 1.8ohm coil rated from 5-9 watts. The 1.8ohm coil is perfect for high nicotine and nicotine salt e juice.
Before you install the coil in the tank, you will need to prime it first, so you need to drop few drops of e liquid insade of the coil, then coil is ready to be installed. You need to prime your coil because you want to avoid dry hits and if you don't prime your coil, the coil will be ruined.
Very good thing here on this device is possibility to use nautilus coils, it is compatible.
Filling this tank is very easy, actually i was surprised how funcional this is, you can refill fast your tank without any problem.
You need to slip down the glass from the tank and then you take your bottle and fill it with e juice, theres a lot of space so you can use any bottle here. This is snadard version of the device so my tank has capacity of 3ml. I just want to mention that glass is in the slot and there's no chance to randomly falls out. Between the glass and the tank there's a gasket that keeps e liquid inside, so there is no any leaking. In the package there is one more spare glass and one more gasket.
Airflow is not adjustable, and this device is for people that likes loose mtl vaping, you even can use it for restricted direct to lung vape.
Vapor production is very good for mtl device, there is plenty of vapor. Throat hit is okay, im using 10mg/ml on this device and i am very satisfied with the throat hit.
You can expect very good flavor from this device, i am using e liquid 60%-40% VG-PG and coil work just fine with my e liquids, you could maybe use it with 70% vg but i didn't try, I prefer 60% VG.
