Over the years, many previously approved food dyes have been banned for various reasons, some quite serious.

I think it is possible that some vapers who report having allergic symptoms to vaping, wondering if it is the PG, VG, nic level, flavorings, etc etc, should be encouraged to consider if their symptoms could be related to the use of dyes in the eliquid that they are vaping.

Food coloring sensitivity seems to be the one stone that remains unturned.

Yeah..That could be a possibility! I hadn't thought of that. When I first started vaping, I thought I was having a sensitivity to the PG (the liquid I had was a 70/30 PG/VG blend) but it turned out to be my spring allergies in full force! I am so glad it wasn't a sensitivity...the 100% VG liquids I have tried haven't been great and I really enjoy the vaping.

Good points made here. I don't want "added" color. I vape unflavored nic base much of the time, but do make some DIY flavors for the rest of the time (and I buy some vendor-made as well.)

I do, however, have 2 flavors here that are supposed to be natural, organic, with no additives or artificial ingredients.. One is raspberry the other strawberry. They have a red tint. I've been hoping to believe that no color was added...that it happened naturally. They could be bad, in the same way that some people have adverse allergy type reactions to things in nature. I'm not allergic to any fruits that I know of. I only use a few drops in a 5ml bottle of e-liquid. I'll probably keep vaping them and try not to worry about the color in this instance.

Strange...I haven't had any problems with it (of course it is my first bottle) but I think now I may not order it again when it is gone. Bummer...being new and having trouble finding flavors I really like, it's gonna suck to lose a good flavor.

I feel your pain. I'm a peanut butter junkie and I found a flavor called Peanut Butter Puff that I really like. Turns out that every time I vape it I have a sneezing fit. So for now it's been kicked to the curb

That's too bad!!!! I have a banana peanut butter liquid that is my ADV. It is sooo good...so giving up that one would just break my heart. I am sorry to hear that your peanut butter is doing that to you.

The upside it makes it easier to tell what's in your tanks. I've gotten a few flavors that have a tint. From yellow to pink to brown. Tbh id prefer clear juice.

I think a tint will come naturally with some of the flavorings. I use different coils with my flavors...so if I am unsure what is in my tank...I just look at what tubes in my labeled coil stash are empty. lol
