Artists on the forum?

Where are all the artist here? I just wanna see if anyone takes pride in their art. Maybe some paintings our sculptures... I love to see and admire other people's work. Post some pics of your masterpieces or work in progresses!

Well, "artist" may be stretching it, at least for me. I've never really referred to myself as an artist. I do like to kick around the colored pencils from time to time. I've done several tattoo designs for friends...first one below was done for my sister and the second was a back piece for a friend (sorry for the DeviantArt watermark, but I assure you it's mine...can't find the original, )

Speakin of that process, can you tell me more about it? How did you come up with this idea and is most of your work in this style?

Very cool mmikee! Were you more of a "traditional" artist that transitioned to digital medium or have you always worked in digital? I only ask because a friend of mine I went to high school with was probably one of the most naturally gifted artists I've ever seen and he has now made a career in the digital world...his work is, in a word, incredible!

I always loved to draw growing up. But my biggest influence was my father. He designed toy packaging for the last half of his career. I went to work with him a few times and they were using 3ds Max. I was instantly wowed. So I saved up some money, bought a copy of Max and a very good rendrerer, and next thing I know I got contacted by my current boss. I have been using 3d/2d programs for over 10 years now.

I don't play anything, unfortunately - I am a rapper. - Though I tend to make my own beats once in a while. Am actually working on my third solo album these days. We'll see how that goes.

I used to play the saxophone but now im more focused on art. I go to the at Institute of Atlanta for game art and design. Nice to see this thread getting responses

Yeah, where can we hear some? I'm a big indie hip hop fan (Aesop Rock, El-P, The Left, and so on).

Haha, I did figure that out... But not at first glance. The office & restaurant are REALLY realistic !
