The two sort of base liquids that everything (nicotine & flavors) get mixed into.
You can make juice out of either or from a blend.
MORE flavorings come in or mix-into PG, so it's more common to start with that - but some people are allergic, and look for ALL VG juices, and they're out there.
When ordering something that comes with blend options, you can consider that more PG may mean more Flavor, and more Throat Hit, while more VG means thicker juice, and more Vapor. So people have different preferences.

I hope that PLAIN ENGLISH is close enough to accurate, and helps a little!

PG and VG stand for Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin. They are the two main ingredients in ejuice other than the flavor and nicotine.

PG = carries flavor better and gives more throat hit, thin oily liquid
VG = produces more vapor, thick and semi-sweet

So, what you're seeing are the ratios contained in the juice. Whether it's 100% VG or PG or a mix of the two.

Personally, I like 50/50 for lots of vapor without sacrificing all of the flavor and throat hit.

That would explan why some of my Clearomizers look like they have gel in them when they get to the bottom. I have one Clearomizer that only has 1 ml of juice in it and it look like its gel when you lean it sideways. Thanks for the information

Not all of the contents in e-liquid gets vaporized. What does not gets left behind in the juice delivery device, and the juice will look darker and thicker. At a certain point, instead of just refilling the clearo, dump what's left...clean the clearo and do a couple short dry burns to clean the coil, and then start fresh again.

After 14 months of vaping many types of e-liquids, I tend to choose whatever the particular vendor recommends concerning pg/vg ratio. If no recommendation is made, I've settled on a 50/50 pg/vg ratio across the board.
