Just bought this bundle set.. tank and sub battery. I also picked up the 5 pack of replaceable coils and an extra tank.
Now, I'm new to this and just a few weeks in and still using my ffirst vape setup which is a halo triton.
Was this a wise buy for a new guy? I did a little reading but I'm convinced that this is a WAY better option than smoking and I have not smoked a CIG in weeks.. Big deal to me when I was smoking 2 packs a day of Marlboro NXTs so I rewarded my self and got what I thought would be a lasting investment, cause I'm NOT going back to CIGS! I'm feeling good and saving cash!!!!
My questions are... What is the up keep of a device like this? How often to you replace a coil? A tank? What is the life span of these batteries? Will a setup like this last awhile? Will this thing hold a charge through a 12 hour work day?
Love the forum and so glad I found it. Never thought I would be CIG free!!!!
Thanks all!

I'm not going to say it's a bad or a good setup for new vapers - if it works for you, it's the best one. I personally probably wouldn't recommend it to new vapors, but it's a decent quality device and tank combo so there is no reason why it wouldn't work for a new vapor.

I suggest you watch a review of your device and tank before you do much else. It'll give you some tips on how it works, how to disassemble it and, depending on the review, how to clean it. I'd suggest a pbusardo review on youtube - he has a pretty comprehensive review of both the battery and the clearomizer (tank) I've linked to his video at the end of my post.

To answer your questions directly - you replace a coil when the vapor or flavor is significantly reduced. It could be after just one tankful depending on the liquid you are using and your vaping habits or it could be as long as a week or more.

You shouldn't have to replace the tank or the setup for a good while. Assuming you don't drop it, dent it, break it or anything like that, it should last you months or even years.

Lifespan of the battery will probably be around 300-500 charging cycles. A partial charging cycle counts as a partial - so 2 charges from half charge to full charge would be classed as 1 charge.

The battery will hold a charge for weeks, but how long it will run will depend on your usage. A heavy vaper may only get 4-5 hours from that battery, a light vaper may get 2-3 days from it. This will have to be a try it and see thing I think.

Finally, read the forum, stick around and make some friends.

Thank you! Nice and very informative video. Looks like it will suit my needs as I'm really after something that will hold a charge for awhile and not cut out on me and me get tempted to pick up a pack of smokes!!
With the sub ohm battery that comes with the bundle(sub battery/tank) am I just limited to the Atlantis tank or are there other compatible tanks?
Again, thanks!

I got the same bundle about 2 weeks ago and I'm quite pleased with it. The battery has only died on me once during my shift but we were super slow and I had nothing to do other than stand there and play with it (it was a couple days after I got it so I was still seeing what it could do). I just changed my first coil after two weeks, but probably should have done it a couple days earlier.

A fantastic buy in my humble opinion!

After 2 solid years of vaping and using EVERY kind of tank, clearo, mech, dripper, juice, mod, wick, coil.... ect.

The exact set up you bought as a newbie is the set up I really prefer as my all day vape gear. Now the CF SUB battery will eventually loose a little oomf... meaning it will push less volts and your vape will be a liitle cooler with a little less vapor. I find that an ATlantis on a half dead CF Sub still beats the Nautilus.

I doubt you will notice this until you have been vaping heavy for a good 8 hours. I have a second CF Sub battery... so that fixes that.

A nice regulated box mod, say 50 watts isnt a bad idea so you can play with the wattage a little.

I have 2 week old coils in mine and they are still working great. I soaked one in vodka overnight and rinsed with hot water, its working very well too.

Not much upkeep really. Clean as needed. I have has less problems with the nautilus by far than I had with the protank, carto tanks, and even the nautilus.

I would have answered this question totally differently a week ago but yeah your cool with your set up as the Atlantis is just incredible however the mod you got kind of sucks I think for this day and age.. I know it will fire it just fine and all and I am sure its quite safe however with a regulated variable wattage mod that you can replace batteries in it to avoid having to recharge all the time and changing your wattage settings on the Atlantis kind of allows in my opinion a better experience with it as you can somewhat control the cloud and temp of the vape which to a degree also effects flavor and what not.. not saying anything is totally wrong with the mod you got its just that seems rather limited. Everyone is different though.. the import thing is really how happy you are so those shortcomings in my opinion may not really effect your style at all like it would mine.

What he said. I bought the Sigelei 100w regulated mod when I got my Atlantis. Although I'm not changing wattage constantly, I do change depending on the liquid I'm using. I feel if I were limited to just the power of the battery vs the continuous output of a regulated, I would have less enjoyment of the Atlantis. Which by the way I enjoy thoroughly for it's convenience, quality craftsmanship and performance.

I purchased the Sigelei 100w as well. I couldn't hold off any longer will all the hype and I am blown away by the combination... Everything everyone has said about the Atlantis has proven to be all that and more.. I am usually at a low setting on the Sigelei though

I got the Segelei 100W and the Atlantis as a Christmas present this year. I am still on my first coil. It is just starting to loose some vapor production but outdoes my nautilus, even with fresh coils. I can't comment on the Aspire sub ohm mod, as I don't have one. I've been vapeing for about six months now. My first reaction to a 35 watt drag on the Atlantis was, "there is no way I can use this thing all day every day". Well, a week later and I find myself using it more and more each day. Be sure to lower the nic level of whatever juice you use. For me, anything higher that 6mg nic and I can only take two maybe three hits off it, or i'll get nic sick. Now I can see myself getting an RTA or RDA soon though as I got all the rebuilding meters and tools at the same time.

Here we go down the slippery slope of the vapeing "hobby"

Low setting? Well I don't know what that means really. I've had mine up to about 45 watts for one juice...Vintage "Dreamer"

Otherwise I'm usually hovering around 30. Are you in that 30ish range? If so that's not low at all. The Atlantis will produce at 15 watts, just not very much. But at 30 you're hitting it pretty darn good. The airflow on this bugger is amazing which I believe is why it produces such a great volume. Convenience is the main reason I use it aside from the flavor not being too bad. My orchid has better flavor but the draw is too tight. I'm seriously considering the Lemo right now after all the reading I've done.
